    Question about the equation at 15:09: why is the radius raised to the fourth power in the die geometry constant if in the volumetric capillary tube equation it was raised to the third power?

    can you work backwards starting from the operating point to find parameters given some parameters

      To be placed in the desired operating point, you have to adjust the key parameters. Yes, once you are at the correct operating point you can check things given that you have proper monitoring tools. etc

      Hi Pawan, line speed is the length of product/pipe coming out per unit time, isn't it? For example, 20cm/min or so.
      If you want to get the volumetric flow rate, you can find the volume of materials coming out for a given time.

      You have the P in the extruder equation and also you can use Q=Av as well. By using these equations, you can calculate P given that you know the other related parameters.

      Here, example considers a pipe extrusion process and A is the cross-sectional area f the pipe and v is the line of the pipe extrusion (how fast the pipe is coming out). Hope this helps.
