That was the first time Dale began to wonder whether he and his brothers had grown apart. Years later, as the leader of the human resistance, he felt ashamed that he hadn't seen the warning signs earlier: the many tweed-covered computers, the growing friendship between Juunyur and their robot butler, AtSigns's growing dependence on autotune... But that was in the past.

lol I made a whole backstory in my head about them, that they were a failed group (all Dales fault) until one hit song, and it made them a fuck ton of money and of course, they now feel on top of the world and buy so much bullshit “at full price” and are so confident now, even with Dale telling them they shouldn’t be, they release the second song dissing him and bragging about their success. Dale leaves , they run out of money, and then get a surprise gig from the impeding dominating robot uprising to make a hit song about them, offering them soooo much money. And lol, Dale comes back bc he can’t help it to say, guys, bad idea
This prequel to the book “I have no mouth and I must scream” is way catchier and more upbeat than I expected.

BDG's mind palace isn't a dream _or_ a nightmare. That's like describing a three-dimensional shape as what it looks like from Flatland. It's on a different plane entirely.
Now I want Gilbert's Nightmare Thought Palace to be a real show a la Twilight Zone.
It's very clear why the robot shows no aggression towards 2winz² while wanting to kill all humans. Since they've sold their souls to the music industry, they are no longer considered human.
Ok, out of all the songs ABBA ever released, 'Under Attack' is probably one of the more obscure to receive a Halloween themed parody... and yet this is likely my favourite of all of these

It’s the perfect choice! It was late in their career and was stalker-y to begin with (and it’s secretly one of my overall favorites).
I’m pretty sure I’ve never heard a version of it that wasn’t either this or for Mamma Mia! (which changes a couple lyrics as the Act Two Opener,) and wouldn’t have pegged it for this album… but man, I’m glad he picked it. Works very well with a robot uprising and boy band.
I always thought it was a very edm song in an era where they didn't have lots of instrumentation. Abba would love the bleeps and bloops and three Singers from one voice

Alright, I'll say it. This is probably one of the best versions of Under Attack, harmonically. The "perfectness" of the chiptune and autotune really lends some clarity to all the different parts that you can't normally hear in the original, or even any other cover, really, and it only came about because of this silly, absurd, genius album concept.
Yeah I must say this one is my favorite, in both dimensions.
I was just thinking the same thing! I hadn't heard of this song before he released this, so when I went to check the original I was a little surprised at just how much more I like this cover. BDG really outdid himself here! :D

This song basically solidified that 2winz² is only capable of is the exact worst decisions possible, and I think that's pretty neat.

So often I've asked myself "Hey self, what if a murder robot and an imploding four-piece boy band were the same guy and also ABBA and also the cake was a lie?" and I just think it's neat to finally have an answer, especially such a chiptune-tastic one. Good work.
I like how the comedic ingenious of BDG can take a romance song and turn it into a terminator robot uprising horror song with a few changes to the lyrics.

I love the little detail that all the members of 2winz^2 have *some* level of mechanical distortion to their voice - some level of robotic augmentation, perhaps - *except* Dale, once again making him the single most plain (not to mention reasonable) person in the band.
I was literally just listening to Just One Day wondering when we would see 2winz squared again
I've been replaying "I'm nobody's fool and it's clear to see, you have no strategy" so many times, it has a great melody line and the robotic voice compliments it so well

Having listened to the this for the 10th time I love that that in the ABBA version there's a couple lines sung in a robotic voice and in this version those parts are sung with human voices. A perfect inversion!

I really love how in the normal verses the robot is singing but in the backing vocals twinz² is singing BUT in the original song a robotic voice was used for the backing vocals and the regular singer was a human (unsurprisingly)
This one is my favourite of the AAAH!BBA songs. I've not actually listened to the original song so this is just what this song is for me

If I had a nickel for every sci-fi parody of Under Attack featuring robots that I knew the lyrics to, I’d have two nickels… which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.
My personal headcanon is that Dale only joined his brothers again in order to get access to the robots to turn them off somehow, which is why after doing it he exclaims "maybe we shouldn't be on their side?" and is met with disappointment because the rest of 2winz^2 were actually on board with the invasion (they get to perform more with the robots)
It's cool how long this has been in the works, since the lyrics were done while Dale was still in 2winz²-1.
This is the best of AAAH!BBA . It is basically a completely different song from the original under attack
So glad that Dale and the boys could put their differences aside, even if only for one song

I think this one is the only song on the album which definitively surpasses simply being a joke song and is actually better than the original. And the original was already a bop.
