    It's become cool to hate this guy but he's got a lot of good tips here and he's got a good sense of humor as well. I don't see all the fuss.

    Success , What a great word , we do all want to be wealthy , passing most of our journey listenning to those 'successful people' , so they make us feel motivated and we are like " I wanna succeed bruh i want it as bad as i wanna breath bruh " , 1 hour later , where still the same , and so goes for the other days . The reality is that 70% of the revenue of the majority of those guys is gained on teaching this kinda of successful lifestyle stuff , But we love listening to them , thats CRAZY . There is no secret guys : FIND A SUBJECT --> BE THE BEST IN IT--> EARN FROM IT oh and a last thing THERE IS NO PERFECT TIME .. START TODAY ! good luck :D

    That comment about getting a little fear in you, and using that to start listening is solid. I was always defensive, and making excuses because I didn’t start making decisions that would change my life... and blaming it on everything and anything. I got a little fear in me, I stopped fighting, and I started listening. I may not be where I want to be yet, but I’m on a way better path because I listened to my fear.

    # impact I wanted to share my idea, before sleeping we should ask 3 questions
    1. What did I do wrong today and what are it's possible solution that can correct it.
    2.What did I do but didn't gave 100 percent and possible ways through which I can make it work better
    3.What is that I did today that made me proud

    I admit that I am lost.
    I have Peter's laws hanging on my door and one of them says : Start at the top then work your way up. (which I am confused is in contrast with Mr. Lopez advice)(or I have just messed up two different things)
    I believe that we can indeed start at the top (if we are clear of what we exactly want and by studying the field properly and learning from people who are best in their field and if we can know what those 20 steps actually stand for and figure out the way )
    I also think Naveen Jain is one of the example of this like how he has companies in different fields.
    Help me.

      a Patriot This is how I’ve interpreted it after reconciling with how successful people act. THINK at the top, and work your way up. This prevents you from getting lost in the weeds. Your work will have a higher chance of being meaningful. And working your way up is the only way you’ll actually get there.
      For example, to build a billion dollar company, you gotta get your first customers, learn from them, build the product, ect, ect. and then you’ll make your first $1000. As you grow you can hit a million.
      You can think about the high level. See where you ought to go. And make way towards it. But what’s the point of considering international delegation or politics when you just started your company. You can think about movements in an industry, and imagine influencing it. But it only matter as a barometer, and you’ll only be able to do that thing once you’ve worked your way up to it.
      So have a goal, keep your eyes open, and win small until you have the skills, and the influence required to achieve your goal.

    Rule 3. You don't wait until being lost to find a mentor. You start and finish with mentors constantly. Didn't Tai reference children learning in the first place? So how could anyone claim to be without a mentor? You cannot exclude one mentor as a teacher for another, unless the lesson is too selfish to begin with or "waiting to get lost"..

    Then Tai's Rule 2.. And then you talk about fear to motivate the early entrepreneur after explaining to take it safe. This advise is counter to rule one. So now you just gave extra degrading advise to someone barely hanging on in the first place. It is not cool backtracking a forward sense of thinking with a decoupled train of logic.

    • @timithy4569
      @timithy4569 7 лет назад

      Jesse Morton Rule one and rule two aren’t counter. You can have small wins while also challenging yourself. There is little more I need say in refutation.

    I just don't like the fact that you degraded the young man's steps of trying to become a billionaire with thinking the steps are out of sync or like a ring is missing out of a his ladder to the original business idea at the top. If the steps are in sync to being a billionaire by doing what is crucial to him by fixing the steps along the way, you just made it look like he was trying too hard and you knew more about his journey than he ever did. You played him for a fool being a bully at words.

    • @timithy4569
      @timithy4569 7 лет назад

      Jesse Morton It’s a Reality Check. Business doesn’t care about your feelings. The lesson, start small to win big, is more valuable than the ego Tai may have shattered.
      How can you make a $1billion dollar business if you can’t bring it to $10,000, $100,000, $1,000,000, ect. You’ll carry that shit on your back all the way to a billion. You can say “I’m building a billion dollar company”, when you’ve fkin earned it. Until then, learn some humility, and focus your efforts.
      “I’m the greatest athlete of all time.” - highschool student
      “I’m gonna train everyday like I’m dying”
      Yeah, you better... and I better see you as varsity champion, uni champion, and olympic champion.
      How can you be an olympic champion if can’t even beat a highschool record? If you work hard at it, you can say you’re actually getting there AFTER you have some RESULTS.
      Reality check, actually get better and ACHIEVE RESULTS.
      So many people say “I’m an entrepreneur”, lull themselves into a false image, and never get anywhere. You aren’t something just because you believe it. You are something once you’ve become it. There are no shortcuts, and people should stop kidding themselves. WHY?!?! Because once they do, they can become something.

  • @jmorton2585
    @jmorton2585 7 лет назад

    Tai talks too much about airplanes and cars and not enough of finance. If you want to learn business, just study the company called Nolo with books on all things business.
