This is just amazing in every way. Such an incredible building. I'm very interested in the history and architecture of medieval England and find Kilpeck a most fascinating place, one of England's greatest remaining Norman spaces though very small. If I can only get a chance to visit someday; but I can only dream for now.
I wish there were more videos of this type and quality. This is just simply the best film of its type that I've seen.

This is probably the best video about this type of subject I have ever seen - beautifully filmed and the narration is brilliant. James Bailey tells the story perfectly so that you know exactly what is speculation, fact and the meaning of the many images. Superb.

This has a good explanation of symbols and is a enjoyable film.
If you find this church interesting, you will find the Church of St Mary in Iffley, Oxford, to be interesting too, with its very fine carving.

I am a descendant of a Pye ( Ap hugh originally). I absolutely loved this film. It reminded me of the first time I went there. I'd been to Much Dewchurch first, Wow! But you have to see both churches, a wonderful day my late mother would have been very proud.
