Aww! I swear Satoshi blushed when you complimented him on his omelet skills. So cute! I will have to try this style of sushi, though we don't have Hokkaido bread where I live.
been going through shinichi's old vids where he talks about his childhood. didn't know you had it so rough. it seems you've come a long way since then, and it gives me hope for my life. thank you for sharing and your vulnerability.
Thank you SO much Satoshi for sharing your recipes with us! They look so Yummy 😋 I LOVE that you guys have posted a few times this week. I love watching you both no matter what your doing. I just love seeing the smiles on your face, and the love that you both have. Thank you again. Sending lots of love ❤️💜💚😊🥰
Satoshi, this is definitely one of your greatest inventions! I wonder if you could use horseradish mustard to give it a slight wasabi like flavor? Congratulations on this recipe! Please do more creative things like this. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
What a fabulous idea, Satoshi! I make sushi all the time. This will be a wonderful alternative for people who don't love rice--sort of a sushi wrap. I love the pro-tip of first placing a hard ingredient on the bread (like julienne carrot or cucumber) to make the sushi easy to roll! Genius.
I love a different way to make tasty things. I try to eat more fish even for breakfast. So, I can not have bread, but had organic jasmine brown rice precooked. I mixed up I pkt of tuna in olive oil with 1/2 cup of the rice...with a little Greek yogurt and lemon mayo, cilantro leaves, dry onion buts too. Spread on my toasted Nori sheet 1 whole sheet...and sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds, s&p, squeeze of lemon juice. I rolled mine roughly by hand laying it seam side down on my plate to rest until all set. Today no pickled veggies tho. Must shop. Served my tuna roll with chili sauce and horseradish! Sometimes I use coconut aminos. I've Iearned a lot watching you 2! Thank you
Sugoi ne!! Brother Satoshi! What an amazing use of shokupan! I will share this video with Josh, as he’s always looking for fun and different party foods! Thank you so much for sharing! ♥️
Master Chef Satoshi strikes again!!!!! In America most homes have white bread but not sticky rice. This recipe deserves *****. I was interested when watching the imitation crab and egg Sushi BUT the caramelized onions and beef gets my vote. As Shinichi said, this would be great for a small gathering at short notice.
Now I see the Top!!! This is absolutely to point a spot and my really favorite!!! Thank You for sharing with us and I DEF use this... Next Restaurant Day in my all time favorite Bar in Helsinki will be such delight selling variations of these and making it really front of them - Rice is so full of work and sensitive, but bread is easy to handle and an inspiration having different breads in one bite and in Maki/ Futomaki Rolls will rule... What ever this kind I do, you will be truly inspiration... It just shot through my head with at least 30 different ideas for filling them in Scandinavian Way - I’m so out of breath... Thank You
Jenni Rayflo - I will not sell it as my own idea - but such a comment of yours is really low minded and ignorant - we others know, how to enjoy positively nice and unseen foodstuff...
Interesting idea! It's hard to find the sushi rice here, so using bread is a good idea, also i think it will be easier to roll (the bread) too. Thankyou for sharing this Satoshi-san! 💕
A distinct and innovative recipe, thank you and sure it is delicious because you made it with a lot of love and smile..The most beautiful is you and your way of explaining and I liked your pronunciation in English really very cute..keep going.. Greetings from Morocco..♡
Hi Shinichi and Satoshi! Wow! Would never think to use bread in sushi. Is that really a thing in Japan? Brilliant if you don't have time to get sushi rice readily prepared. Will definitely try this recipe! The teriyaki beef really looks yummy! Thanks for sharing! 😊❤
You just gave me some needed inspiration!! I dont have a kitchen right now, but this is something i can make and try with a lot of things :) Thanks Satoshi and Shinichi ! love you both as always
I really like the sound of this actually - the sushi flavours but with a pillow-y soft texture sounds so interesting. I wonder if you could adapt other typical "sandwich" ingredients into sushi this way? Definitely worth a try!
For those of you who want to use the leftover crust, sprinkle parmesan, drive thyme, and salt and pepper then throw them in the oven for a couple of minutes and boom you have a crispy tasty cheesy treat.
Very impressive. There have been times that I've wanted sushi, but didn't have sushi rice. I'm really happy to have an alternative way to make it. Thank you for the video. Have you done a video showing ways to use Dashi? I have HonDashi by Ajinomoto, but don't really know how to use it. If you haven't done such a video, would you consider one, please? Something like "5 easy ways to use Dashi" would really be appreciated.
I have something you should TRY. Simple a awesome. Take ground pork and cook it when almost done put one pack cream cheese. Cook til well blended. Toast 5 cheese garlic bread for 3 min. Then add the pork/cream cheese mixture to the bread . Toast 3 min and then eat it .so yummy . But not carb friendly.
I prefer to take the stringy bits out of the egg (they freak me out ha ha) and beat it well with no whites for tamagoyaki, but I do think bread sushi is a really interesting idea! :D Thanks for sharing.
Great idea!!! I'm going to make this for Saya's bento sometimes :D Although I'll substitute the carrot with green beans since she has a problem with carrots. I'm thinking what other sushi fillings will go well with the bread. with the bread crusts you can make french toast or rusks :)
Thank you so much for this video! It can be difficult finding anything but long-grain rice in certain parts of the US. Even if there is medium/short grain rice, it tends to be much more expensive (looking at you Nishiki brand!) These recipes make it a lot easier for me to share sushi ideas with some of my friends away from the coast :)
Aww! I swear Satoshi blushed when you complimented him on his omelet skills. So cute!
I will have to try this style of sushi, though we don't have Hokkaido bread where I live.
Galena Silveroak Try a very soft fresh white bread loaf from a bakery. It will be close enough!
This isn't sushi. Sushi is vinegared rice. That's literally what sushi is.
been going through shinichi's old vids where he talks about his childhood. didn't know you had it so rough. it seems you've come a long way since then, and it gives me hope for my life. thank you for sharing and your vulnerability.

Thank goodness for your videos! We enjoy them immensely! Arigato!

Oh. Omg. I'm going to try it

You could use different kinds of herring, couldn't you?
I hope you give credit where credit is due

Great recipe idea!!
Oh wow. This is genius. I know of an African bread that’s very similar to Hokkaido bread. I’m gonna try this out! :)
Loved it

We've never seen bread sushi 😲 Can't wait to try this!
Soo good, I just made 3 sushi bread rolls. Cool idea.
I love this idea ! And really love you guys , you both seem very sweet .
You know, since you added a little bit of sugar to your mustard I wonder how it would taste with the American style honey mustard
Hi Shinichi and Satoshi sushi bread sounds yummie enjoy this video thanks stay safe God BLESS to all
This recepy is amazing! I have everything apart from sushi rice - perfect! :D
So you have everything except the key component in sushi, considering sushi is literally the vinegared rice. :-P
I really like the sound of this actually - the sushi flavours but with a pillow-y soft texture sounds so interesting. I wonder if you could adapt other typical "sandwich" ingredients into sushi this way? Definitely worth a try!
You’re so crazy guys I’m going to try this.🤩👍🏽😘
MOOOOOOOOOOM SATOSHI IS BEING WEIRD AGAAAAAAAAAIN!
jk looks great lol
For those of you who want to use the leftover crust, sprinkle parmesan, drive thyme, and salt and pepper then throw them in the oven for a couple of minutes and boom you have a crispy tasty cheesy treat.
Mother Moth Or make croutons for salads!
@@lmaree200886 Yes that's a great idea as well :D
Very cool, i would have used a Wasabi mayo though. Great invention.

Love watching these. Can you put together a blooper/outtake video? I have a feeling it would be hilarious ♥️😂👀

Hi👋 Love your channel❣️ Wondering if you would make a video on how to cook enoki mushrooms wrapped in steak🥰
Thanks So Much😍
When I was young I didn't like eggs or mayo either ! My mind just exploded.
Interesting take on a sushi roll. When you cook the onions you say 'turn on the heat' ... at what heat level? Medium-low, medium, medium-high?
Amazing Satoshi! Did you come up with this or have you learned it from elsewhere?
I prefer to take the stringy bits out of the egg (they freak me out ha ha) and beat it well with no whites for tamagoyaki, but I do think bread sushi is a really interesting idea! :D Thanks for sharing.

with the bread crusts you can make french toast or rusks :)
What about tuna with the mayonnaise, and maybe something for crunch. Cabbage or Celery.
@@carols3517 I was thinking about that. Maybe with some avocado and spread some wasabi on the bread :)
PB&J Sushi, please.
YUMMMMMY😀
Can you use citrus juice instead of vinegar to season sushi rice?
Thank you so much for this video!

😍
Please how to make tekka
thanks
Satoshi, what is the reason that we cannot beat the eggs too much?
I bet satoshi discovers all of these recipes after a hard night of alcohol. The best ones always do. This has alcohol written all over it! lol
Yeah, being hungry and not wanting to wake up Shinichi, lol.
It literally isn't sushi without the rice, since that's what sushi is. 😛
Wait what's the thing the oil came out of O.O
makaylablackburn13 A tiny bowl with a spout
Breadshi
Ok, looks yummy, but sushi is rice! Aaaa! I'm confused. 😂
Catherine Bond Sushi used to refer to pickled fish in vinegar. Maybe this should be called bread ‘sushi style’?
Hmmm... can you even call it sushi? The word sushi translates to "vinegared rice." No rice? not sushi.
This is definitely something I will try
