I "workout" everyday, but some of those days are a long walk or a hike. I use my kettlebells usually 5 days per week, but some days it is just a 20 minute kind of thing to just get things moving. I walk 3-6 miles per day always. I just retired from the military last Sept so I have decent amount of free time. I still work, but not full time.

I am lifting Kbs every other day. On the days I don't lift, I run, ruck, walk around 3 - 5 miles depending upon the day and how I am feeling that particular day. I end those run, ruck / walk with a 20 - 30 mins of light getups or yoga type stuff to get lose granted I am only 25 and not a family man. This can be adapted to busy individuals alike.

I've always trained every day just so I don't go crazy....I'm like my dog: I need my walks.

I also train 6 days a week. At 64 years of age, I have learned to back off when necessary and also when to switch things up a bit. Works for me :)

I workout every day I've found out that if I have one hard day of strength and conditioning, the rest of the workouts feel like nothing physically and I get the benefit of technique and endurance

Wow, "we dont lift to our lifetime max everyday, we lift to our training max everyday".
    Thank you for that.

I think theres value in working out everyday, because life usually demands a day off without regard whether or not you want one

I trained 3 times a day for 2 weeks often including power yoga as one of those at the end and felt so.alive!!! Each session was 45min to 55min long including warm up and cool down. Miss it sometimes but life is more than a gym!

Strongfirst had an article on doing 16 kettlebell swings every hour for 8 hours. It's to improve your posture and it allows you to do other workout programs throughout the week. e.g. you can workout 3 days per week and do this workout everyday.

Like one person said about an idea like this: "Yeah, but I have a job." It's great if you can do it.

@@DanJohnStrengthCoach the workout is 40 minutes over the whole day, (15 seconds of swinging + 45 seconds resting, repeated 4 times) x 8-10 times throughout the day.
The idea was if youre taking a break every hour, you spend 5 minutes of that break working out and youre all the better for it.
It is a dedication though I suppose.

Bill Starr's big three program operates on a similar principle of enhanced recovery methinks. Tho it's only 3x per week: heavy, light, medium.

My friend, who trained with Bill, tells me that the "enhanced" part was crucial.

I'm 2 weeks in ES with KettleBells. Following the Omnibook recommandations and planning.
I workout 5 days a week with 5 exercises (1/2 kneeling press, pull up, gobelet squat, single leg deadlift, suitcase carry) mostly with a 16kg bell. Some days it seems too easy but the days I feel tired or weak I really appreciate that.
And I'm starting to feel very good ! Some small nagging injuries on my back and shoulder seem to be fading away. And I didn't test my max pull up yet, but doing a set of 5 pull ups starts to feel pretty easy.
I'm curious to see what it will look like at the end of the 8 weeks. I'm might do an other round of ES with different exercises after that. 5 days a week with the 2 other days just working on my mobility seems like asweet spot.
