Somewhat unrelated, but my first blunt smoked when I was a teen was in a house of similar state to woody described, paths cut through to rooms amongst what could only be described as an ACTUAL indoor landfill.

My mother has hoarder tendencies for furniture. She picks up used furniture from the street and anything anyone is trying to get rid of. It’s controlled a lot though. Just imagine a really clean house with two tables in the hall way and chairs in every room

I was watching hoarders and they definitely had dogs in the first episode I watched. Dogs got taken away. They lived about 30 miles from me. Another episode happened and it was filmed in my high school friends neighborhood. We used to have Xbox LAN parties in the same culdesac. When the episode aired I was working at a grocery store nearby and she used to be a regular. Word got around to employees when it was on Comcast on demand...so we all watched it and I think someone told her because she stopped coming in
A friend told me about a dog hoarder in his town whose house had like a foot and a half of dog shit on the floor when they finally got busted, it was truly foul

I've never understood how the people on 600 lb life could afford to eat that much a month. They eat more than my entire social security/disability could cover. They have to be getting a ton of money from welfare.
That's something that always baffled me when I watched that show

My grandma was an antique dealer, and it was the worst decision of her life. Because people would buy these random antiques at her shop, and so she would start to see the value of every little thing. She would look at a cardboard box and save it just because she thought maybe she could get a few bucks for it. She filled up two different houses with useless shit. When I moved in with her, it was a constant fight to get her to throw things away. I spent a week just trying to get her to throw away a completely busted rocking chair, before I just decided to burn it and a bunch of other stuff in a big fucking bonfire. Hoarding is a sickness of the mind, that is rarely cured

it's like these guys never learned about destruction/degradation of evidence, half lifes, or ability to conceal. The analogy of it being like a troubleshooting phone call is about as dumb as the guy in kyles story.
Kyle didn’t realize he hoarded guns. There is a difference between collecting and having atleast 10k worth of guns within arms reach. It’s all love I’m just messing around, I’m a gun nut too.

sadly a lot of people get the idea in their heads that every body has a different body, and their weight loss is different. this isnt true, human bodies are all the same along gender lines, men like men and women like women. you lose weight if you have a caloric deficit, there is no exception, or water weight, or big bones that stop you from losing weight. if you dont lose weight, youre fat because youre eating too much.
Watching reality shows like 600 lb life and hoarders is like watching MGTOW videos on RUclips. It makes you feel way better about your own life situation.
