Great video! I really like your detailed prose, explanations and informative style of presenting. I also like how you edit the video to show before and after building the model. As a Yank, my first love is ACW, but watching these videos sure makes me want to delve into Napoleonics! Great work, I will be looking more into your material! Cheers!
First of all Nice Review. Secondly the extra horses are a must in my opinion in order to get the best out of this kit. Extra money outlay true, but the end result is no waste, and great looking model figures on display. I recently bought a couple of boxes of these for painting up next year. So yes i will order extra steeds for these guys, so they can have galloping fun on my painting table. Greetings to Everyone Beano Boy
The horses will probably look a little weird, but I can't see why it wouldn't work, wargames Atlantic make a kit that's just horses, which might be good to look at
I've noticed that there are no standard bearers for any Of the British Cavalry box sets. I couldn't even find any metal ones from any range. I take it the British did not have standard bearers when it came to cavalry units?
World of Warpaint All British cavalry regiments left their guidons/standards behind at their recruiting base after 1812 (Lady Butler's paintings not withstanding).
A great set with so many variations, excellent product by Wargamers for wargamers!

Excellent review, I found it very helpful, thank you for posting.
It'd be nice to see how you paint them up? hint hint (tutorial? maybe?)
So Cool! Thank you. Thinking about using some Perry Miniatures for my Bolt Action German Assault Cavalery!
Great review, wasn't sure I could use them for a Dutch 4th Dragoons conversion.
Now I know, thnx.
I'm glad you found it useful!
it's a great kit . i think it's good to have that many variations in one box ,

I wonder if I could use them as AWI light dragoons if I use the tarleton
Very nice figures, great video.

You dont pay for an extra 14 riders you get them for free. The box is the same price as all the other 14 men and rider sets
omg, they look like french in color scheme. no wonder people have a hard time getting into Napoleonics. 😅 its confusing
