    I agree with you about Cosmic brushes past palettes… none of them had color stories that were “up my alley”. But I do like these 2 new ones. I would usually choose the cool tone palette (since those shades , mainly purples/burgundy’s work for me) But all those blues make me hesitate… so I think I would check out the Nudetrals? However, I would enjoy seeing you review both. ❤

      I'll probably pick up both if I manage to, don't know how fast they will sell! The blues are an interesting choice for sure

    I’m quite curious what you will think about CB eyeshadow formula. Some people love it and some don’t. I personally love the way they are pigmented right from the start and I heard they even up-ed their formula which I don’t know how since to me it’s perfect. These were the first neutral palettes I was curious about in a quite a while and I thought that in the worst case scenario they would be just like any neutral palette on the market maybe with a little twist. But daaammn… definition of neutral left the chat and I’m so excited. For me the Muse palette was the most neutral palette I thought I will ever get but CB just made the perfect argument why I should buy “neutral” palette - I like both but I also know myself and I never reach for blue shimmers and that 3rd row in Nudetral ❤❤❤
    There are 2 products I will never buy from mid or high-end brands - mascara and blush. There is a point where these 2 thing just are more expensive just because it would be weird for the brand to sell it for reasonable price. I don’t even see one at least a little bit different colour from the 3 brands you showed us. They are quite late to the party and I have a hard time believing that even hardcore fans of those brands need those colours. Which doesn’t mean people won’t buy them but these 3 releases were unnecessary IMO
    Thanks for the video ❤

      Ohhh I've only heard good things so far about Cosmic Brushes, but I haven't watched a ton of reviews! Yeah I can definitely see that with the blushes, I feel like that with most higher end lip formulas. There are so many amazing formulas out there for a lower price

    i’m so curious about the balm highlighters, like will they separate foundation or not or if they won’t set down without powder

    • @MarlieWijn
      @MarlieWijn  5 дней назад

      @@talullaweis7009 the separating I think has a lot to do with the way you apply. If you tap lightly with a finger you're probably good, but when you swipe with a brush it's risky. Haven't tried a balm highlighter with powder on top yet though, now I'm also curious

    HI! Have you heard about the 3 new palettes from Klarity Kosmetics? (They released yesterday & I have not seen one review! I don’t think they sent PR!) I think “The Lost Kingdom” one looks most interesting & has the most multi-chromes & duo-chromes. (12 pans for $50, the other 2 palettes are $48 but with less multi-chromes) Plus really like the shades in that one! Would love to see you review them!! (The other 2 palettes are nice also) ** I miss your reviews of other Indie brands 😊

      I don't know if I've seen it! I'll have a look! Honestly I would love to do more videos on indie brands, but I usually can't get the releases fast enough while a lot of other RUclipsrs get them in PR. For now it's not my focus, but maybe later :)

      @@MarlieWijnWell, like I said… it doesn’t appear that Klarity Kosmetics sent out PR! (Sorta shocking for such a big release) But yes, please check out these 3 new palettes: Mesmaizing, Return to the Sea & The Lost Kingdom. (Although the Return to the Sea one is a revamped palette they had before… they only added 2 new shades. Plus I’ve heard on the previous version “So Mermaizing”, the lighter shades were not pigmented enough. That may be why they have focused the other 2 palettes on darker shades… which look great in swatches. (So if you decide to try them.. I would skip the Return to the Sea one) * The Lost Kingdom looks killer!!👀

      @@cavlizzy okay the palettes look beautiful!

      @@MarlieWijnGreat! … gotta correct myself (I just edited my above comment but you had already seen it) So need to say it is the Return to the Sea one that has lack luster shades based on 10 of those shades existing in a previous palette & did not get such good reviews on the lighter colors. Just fyi. Thx!

      @@cavlizzy Okay so shipping and taxes is gonna be very high, so I think I'll wait for them to get to Monolith because they usually have their new releases.. Not 100% sure yet though, but if I order from them I might grab a palette
