MuR actually promised they would use the same formula as BH for their MuR line after they bought BH in 2022. That was the point when I started eyeing MUR and swiftly after each and every release was a let down after let down. None of their palettes had their formula. By the time BH was long forgotten and after each MuR release I felt like this: Me: Sméagol promised!! MuR: Sméagol lied. (Note for context: I’ve binge watched Lord of the Rings during the weekend and if you know which scene I’m talking about, between Frodo and Sméagol, you understand the heartbreak I’m talking about) This video gives me hope ❤ at first glance they look like BH formula although I can’t judge the shimmers because that was never the strong suit of BH either. The question is if it truely is BH formula because as the saying goes: Neutrals are much easier to formulate. Can’t wait for your makeup round-up and jugment of those palettes. Thanks for the video ❤
Hahahah I know exactly which scene 🤣 I agree, I thinkt this would be easier to judge if there were some blue shades. At least for me because I used to own Blueberry Muffin. I would like to see different color stories from them
At the start I used to purchase a lot of MUR palettes I learnt swiftly that they were poor quality. It’s been years now since I’ve stopped and managed to swatch this at our drugstore and was impressed. I kept thinking maybe it’s me but I’m glad to see that they’ve finally changed formulas.
Have Eternal Icon ... not sure which palette it's supposed to be a dupe for but it's incredible. Love it. Obsessed with it, playing with it more than my high end palettes.
I ordered the rosey one. I found this video super interesting and I think "the enchanted" palette would be amazing for my light blue eyes ♥ Can't wait!!
@@gloriapuller I think it's quite a "light" smokey palette since there is no black in it. And the shadows are quite easy to either build or sheer out a bit. To me it doesn't seem very deep at all, but it really depend what you do with it as well
Ohhh right! I'm glad you asked! The creams looked perfect 2/3 hours later actually.. No creasing in sight! I did another look with the Ethereal palette (tutorial is coming on Insta) and it was really pretty as well. The mattes were a little softer without the cream base, but the look was still very beautiful
Before I saw the full packaging in your video.. I thought they looked like either (newer) ABH or Patrick Ta (so it was funny when you mentioned TA too) How much did these cost?? I’ve never purchased Revolution , but these look like possibilities!
@@MarlieWijn Wow,,, that is a good price. That would be about $12 US dollars. Thanks! (I actually just did a conversion & it says $9.57 in US dollars! Since when did the dollar get so close to the Euro??? 🤔
Hi there! I see one of your go-to products is by Shein. They are a horrible company. They treat their employees like dirt and don't give them weekends or sick days off. They pay them pennies (China) and the women have to wash their hair in the sink at work. Most makeup reviewers refuse to recommend them. Just an fyi. Thanks.
Is it me or the Enchanted Icon is similar to the Dreamer palette from Unearthly? Can you compare them pls? Thank you! P.S: For those who don't know, if you can't buy them from revolution uk site, cause they don't ship to certatin countries in EU, there is boozyshop although the shipping is 20 euros
Similar vibes, but not dupes by any means I think! Ethereal Icon is more soft and muted. You can also order these at Beauty Bay, I think their international shipping is lower
Thanks for the swatches! I miss swatch videos ❤
❤️❤️

Ooohh yes! Pinky tones on blue eyes look so good!!
@@MarlieWijndo you think I also need “the smokey”? I don’t know if it can be too dark for my light tones. What do you think? Can you advise me?🙏❤️

@@MarlieWijn thank you ❤️❤️
How’d you like it?
i feel like some of them may be inspired by huda beauty.. pink one kind of reminds me of rose quartz 🧐
Now that you mention it! The pink does seem like that
The smoky one kind of reminds me of an extended version of hudas 9 pan smoky palette
Enchanted reminds me of ABH Cosmic. Thank you for a great review, I will buy these based on how well you showed them ❤
@@Jo47 yes a bit for sure! I hope you'll enjoy them 😄
the pink one is the major dimension by Patrick Ta dupe
I've been waiting for the bh comeback but you've sold me on these! They are so pretty!
The quality is just amazing!
I am looking forward to hearing your update on these palettes! How did the creams last?
My finger is sooo close to ordering these hahaha

@@MarlieWijn ❤️ I appreciate it! I do watch all your videos 😄
@@ElizabethRas No problem!! 😄❤️
The smokey one is almost the same exact color story as the colourpop cloud 9 palette but imo the makeup revolution one is better and vegan.
Can u pls mention where u got ur wallpaper from? It’s perfect for my daughter’s bedroom.
I got it at Kwantum here in the Netherlands 😊
Sorry I said Shein, I meant SheGlam which is owned and run by Shein. Thannks
are the cream shadows in the palettes a cream to powder texture or do they stay tacky?
@@Strawbettys they feel like a powder once applied
Thank u!! I just got the smokey one!❤@@MarlieWijn

My IG is makeupmarlie 😊
Do I need them? No.
Will I bye them? Yes.
Revolution Beauty Group owns BH Cosmetics: they paid over 3 million.
They own bh so they are not being sneeky
