Love how you compared both options. The majority of people dont have an extra 70 dollars for an eyeshadow pallete. The Revolution one is a great option for those of us on a budget that still wanna create pretty looks. ❤

I just finally picked up the Colourpop "Precious Metals" palette and I am completely OBSESSED. Can't stop using it on the daily. The shimmers and super shocks and gorgeous mattes.... it's really divine if you haven't tried it, y'all! Trust! 💯🔥🔥🔥

I like the revolution side better it looks blended and softer! I just got the enchanted icon palette from them, but I think I like this one better! I have one of Patrick's palettes, but I've never been a big fan of it and hardly ever use it.

I have to say, the Revolution side looka better. The Patrick Ta side looks a bit patchy...

Waw i like this comparison! We can see clearly similarities and differences😍 they are similar apparently but in performance the lux one gives professional result without too much effort and the drugstore one is a bit ashier and more blend work is required but it works to mimic the lux result with a smaller budget❤

Thank you for reviewing the makeup revolution palette, I really wanted to hear your thoughts on that palette m bc you always have good recommendations. And I own the makeup revolution palette and I was honestly impressed by it for $12 it wasn’t a bad palette. But I do really want to try the Patrick ta palettes even though they are expensive 😬 but his formula truly looks amazing.
I’m so excited to see this because I was wondering how the formulas are and the colors. The color story isn’t really my cup of tea, but I think it’s always cool to see comparison videos. It reminds us that the things we have from the drugstore, or from our collection can perform as well as high end products. Thank you Jas 🩷.
IMO, there's no contest! Revolution for the win!! Packaging just ends up in a land fill, so less is best for me. Although, I could tell when you used the Patrick Ta shadows, you really enjoyed the process because they are such a wonderful formula. I have always purchased affordable eyeshadow palettes....so I don't know what I'm missing!😉🥰❤❤
Hi Jas, I absolutely love the look you did with both palettes. You know I'm definitely going to buy the Makeup Revolution one cuz of the drugstore junkie that I am. Don't get me wrong, the Patrick Ta one is GORGEOUS but I can't see myself spending $70.00 on an eyeshadow palette where I can spend $12.00 on the almost same colors!!! You are the only one I've personally seen compare these 2 palettes. I appreciate that because I cannot afford Patrick Ta products but I love MR. Do I need this or that palette? No. I have similar palettes that will give me similar experiences. But thx for this cuz it matters. ❤

I mean the quality difference is obvious but, I actually like the makeup revolutions tones better. The more neutral not so pink tones are really nice. Patrick Ta is really pink, which is pretty but they kind of all blend into one thing like you said. That foiled eyeshadow is amazing it's so wet. But I also feel like you could get that similar look if you wet your brush and dip into the makeup revolution one. Either way both are beautiful pallets.❤

Ok, I need to see if that real techniques liner brush is sold in a single. Love love love the nude over the burgundy wing. Overall if I saw you I rly wouldn’t think her eyes are different even with the slight variations.

MINES MOLD BOTH PALETTE. THE SHIMMER SHADES. 😢😢😢 USED LESS THAN 6 MONTHS. None of my old PALETTES grew mold besides the Patrick Ta. No longer support the brand. I will definitely pick up the revolution palette.
Omg yes! Mine came with mold, and I immediately returned it. His formula is not that fantastic that I would be willing to buy something that will go bad so quickly 😭

I was wondering if anybody would mention the Patrick Ta mold issue. I would've brought the Patrick Ta palette a long time ago but everyone says they grow mold. I'm very allergic to molds.
I’m SHOCKED that’s a revolution palette. I never give them so much as a glance cuz their shadow formulas are usually tragic & so unreliable. It’s a brand I wish would pay attention to social media & reviews to see when people are loving a palette & STICK WITH that formula!! The shimmers I never ever would’ve guessed revolution!!🩷
Sometimes I just need to stay awake later than I should so I can watch one (or several 😊) of your videos as a mood booster & relaxation technique after a tough day. You have such a calming energy about you. Watching your videos when I'm struggling to go to sleep is as comforting as having a warm cup of hot chocolate on a cold night, getting a hug from my fav person, hearing my kiddo laugh from her soul, wearing a comfy robe... all while cuddled up with my pup in bed!!
My pup is already snoring so that's my cue to stop typing and get back to watching your pretty face play with makeup.

No brainer-Makeup Revolution for the win
at the end when u closed u eyes for a sec, i noticed that MUR shadows look a little more blended and dark

I'm still scared to use my Patrick Ta 2 palette which I've literally only used like twice after hearing about there possibly being mold in some ... Childish I know and I'm paranoid even though I see nothing on it I'm like what if it's in there 😢🤦🏻♀️
Mines mold both palettes. The first and this one both were used less than 6 months. 😢😢😢

also the PT pallate is way less pigmented
I can tell a difference. The MUR palette looks pretty but the shimmers aren't as glittery, which is kind of the staple of PT. MUR has never had good shimmers. Maybe Alter Ego will take a hint!
