Tokyo-Ga is a 1985 documentary film (shot in spring 1983) directed by Wim Wenders ostensibly about filmmaker Yasujiro Ozu. Rockabilly Scene at at Yoyogi Park.

i think the first time i ever saw the park Rockabilly scene was in the late 80s, i saw some of it in the film Tokyo Pop, but had also seen clips of it on some entertainment show or other than i cant remember at all. but if this was filmed in 83 then it is easily the oldest footage ive seen of that scene. its a shame because it seems like more recently ive seen a clip where some of them were saying its sort of dying out because there arent really many younger people coming into the scene, which is sad.
It's amazing that the scene still exist today! This film was from 1985 and the Rockabilly dancers are still dancing to this date!
And I think many of the regulars are the same people in this video.
I'm surprised cause in the USA most things come and go pretty quickly.

That same year they filmed in 1983 Wild Style crew brought Hip Hop to Japan !!! The guys danced with the rockabilly guys
