What I don't get is once you've set this up, there seems no way to get the link back. Clicking change creates a new link and password. Or am I missing something?
@@LiveStreamingPros Thanks. I can see this now. I've realised I need to cut and paste the from the VMIX config file and save and later restore it in order to implement this elsewhere. There are times when you want to work on a new version, but there is a danger of disrupting a live broadcast because the copied VCALL input has the same key. So you have to recreate the input and later hack the config file back to contain the previously used key (or otherwise tell video senders the new key value).
Thank you for the video... Really much basics of vmix. I'd love to hear more about the lastet updates and best practics in real production. A bit deeper. ;-) Cheers from Switzerland
Yep, things are different on the Mac - you'll need to go into the permissions for your operating system first to allow the browser to use your camera and mic, and then go into the browser setting to turn them on there as well.
Hello. I am broadcasting 3 different people, but there is a slight audio delay, so it does not work simultaneously. Can you support me in this regard? Is there a solution, thank you
There are a lot of factors that can cause that, and there's always going to be a slight delay on any kind of internet traffic, but if you make sure that your guests are on a strong, steady internet connection, that your computer is strong enough to handle the number of input you're bringing in, etc., it should work fine. We have team members and students that do this successfully all the time. In your precheck with your guests, you can adjust the quality that you're sending back to them, sometimes that helps. And you can also put a slight delay on things inside of vMix itself to help adjust. This is why it's so helpful to do a pre-check with your guests if you possibly can.
It depends on your goals...Zoom is great for meetings with large groups, but the quality isn't the best. Something like vMix offers much more flexibility and better quality, but if limited to a maximin of 8 callers at a time.

All you need to do is go to the vMix Call input you created, right click on it, select "Open Call Manager," and then you can copy/paste the call info!

Also now with zoom and everything what is easier?

how many guests we bring together and wt bandwidth we need?
Will vmix call work on iPhones and iPads
Yes, guests can use any device they like! Are you using vMix now or just thinking about it?
You guys have so many fans of your show including myself, why did you not set this up with an actual person?
Great idea!
