A rare appearance by the two Rons, Hoffman and Gladis, masters in the art of caring, and all of its complexities, for those living with ALS. Our own Ron Hoffman, the founder of CCALS, began his journey with the sudden, unexpected invitation to care full-time for Gordon Heald, his boss at Wickertree Catering who was diagnosed with ALS. That was 26 years ago, and he has been caring ever since.
Ron Gladis was married to Mariah Fenton Gladis and served as her primary caregiver during her 37-year journey with ALS. Not only did Ron care for his dear wife, he also supported her in delivering an inspiring message of hope all of those years. These two masters of caring share their wisdom in a lively, 90-minute presentation.
