@@cyberturkey77 He's lived in Norway for a long time now so maybe his accent got a bit of a mix now of Norse and his British accent. I wouldn't know to be honest, I've always been terrible telling accents apart.

I have to say the mod's ambient sounds are spot on, at least during Mr Smyth's speech. With headphones really enjoyable.
This mod & Gopher are a perfect match, a real treat to long term and new viewers alike!
I know other RUclipsrs are playing through Fallout:London at the moment, but I just can't. If theres anyone on the planet who is uniquely suited to "Fallout: London" its the poor man who had an internal meltdown upon scavenging all that aluminum in FO4, and who paused ever so slightly upon finding an aluminium can, just to look at it.
Plus, if theres a "Rad Milk Tray" somewhere in this game, Im not missing Gopher's reaction. 😊

Lol the reason "the trains are delayed is due to leaves on the track" made me laugh out loud..
I don't know if you are from the UK or not but 'leaves on the track' is a genuine reason for delays and it is fucking annoying.
@anglewoden I'm not from the UK, but I've heard it before. So it's hilarious. But yeah if you live in the UK and that is the reason for delay I get it can be annoying.

@@GophersVids Sleepwalker can be a killer.. It can absolutely bring you places you are NOT ready for, but then if you don't play on Survival you're not forced to sleep either, so you can SOMEWHAT control when it happens I guess :p
@@Ztygs I try to sleep where it makes sense, but honestly I will probably change to Survival once I've made sure the game is stable enough to begin adding the mods I'd need for that.
@@GophersVids Oh dear! That's gonna land you in some hot water at times I'm sure haha!
But yea, I've installed quite a few mods to tweak some times on Survival such as still allowing me to use console, fast travel(only use that to fix glitches tho) and tweak how fast hunger/thirst rates go up etc.
The game is quite stable for me, but your milage may vary, I see others running into various big issues! 33hrs of gameplay, only 1 CTD.

Gopher missed the aluminium can, therefore missed the chance of saying aluminium.
"Do it" Is a reference to Return of the Jedi where the Emperor wanted Luke Skywalker to kill Darth Vader : "Do it !".
Instead Luke refused and after some torture from the Emperor Darth Vader decided nuff's enuff and threw the Emperor down a shaft just like the one where you found that note.

This game and Gopher almost seem *made* for one another. :) I haven't yet played it myself (I'm waiting for a couple of months, until the issues are somewhat more ironed out), but this looks SO GOOD, and the British part of me is just loving everything about it.
Also, is it just me, or does anyone else get Mr. House vibes from the way they present Mr. Smythe?

My father's side of the family are also British, even coming from an area with an imported British name. My mother's side from Ireland, and I had a paternal grandmother of French decent.
There's also a bit of Native American, but ninety percent Celt!
So you see, even though I've never managed to visit the lands of origin (bucket list), it seems you and I may have some things in common.

It's funny, I missed the walking cane in the beginning, so I punched my way through London for a good while until i got the knife, all that with 2 strength. It felt so good to not have a weapon for a good bit, so I am kinda glad i didnt see the cane.
You are in peak form in this one. It is promising to be your most entertaining playthrough to date.

I know it’s too late to go back, but I noticed at 21:58 you picked up “Roid” which would have given you enough strength to open that one door. I have yet to see anyone go in there, and I don’t have FO4 on PC 😢

Chay got through there and was confused by why he could open an "inaccessible" door. It was just random junk and a knife.

I am absolutely loving this playthrough Gopher, thank you so much for doing it. This playthrough is the highlight of my Friday. To answer your question, yes, I think you hit something. Check to make sure that the bait and tackle are sill intact, and the head is facing the forward position.
This is the first fallout game where I've taken Lead Belly given how useful food is and how rare stimpacks and rad away are.
I absolutely adore the glass design for the 'Ion Brew', Kudos to the mod team.
This series is teaching me UK slang and expressions, it’s oddly satisfying to either realise that I understand that joke/reference, or to learn what some odd expression I’ve heard someone use once actually means.
I’ve had Iron Brew, it tastes a bit like Swedish raspberry soft drinks, but with a slightly different flavour profile. If there was ever a Fallout: Sweden, I’d recommend them putting Trocadero in it, although I can’t think of a good way to Fallout-ify the name. We’ve already got Cuba Cola in real life (product developed by someone who didn’t like the “All-American soft drink Coca Cola”, I assume), and that seems like it could fit into Fallout quite seamlessly as it is.
Should definitely be a status effect called "Gormless" :) ... also should have called the episode "Braining Of the Shrews"

This whole playthrough is just going to be Gopher squeeing at everything UK, isn't it? After seeing his reactions to the Ion Brew and those whatever-they-were sweets, that seems to be a fairly accurate appraisal of the future situation.
Actually, a more accurate one might be a playthrough that's 50% snark, 25% squeeing, 20% terrified screaming, and 5% actual normal gameplay.
I love how they actually captured the sound of the tube, Literally thought I was on the Central for a moment. ^^,

I now appreciate Gopher’s approach to role playing. Everyone else comes upon something like Hero or Ion brew and comparing it to their Fallout 4 equivalent ruining the immersion for the viewer. He lets his character actually learn things. This used to annoy the heck out of me when watching his gameplay content . Congrats on your “starring role “ Gopher 😊

I love the Bioshock vibe in the Shard. Nice little nod by the devs. The discovery of Ion Brew brought a huge smile to my face and many other Brits no doubt. Did you notice the green milk crate Gopher? hehe. Have to be of a certain age for that one. Back in the days of milk delivery and milkmen.

I can't wait for Gopher to go full Baz, on this run. We saw hints of it in the old cyberpunk 2077 playthrough, and it was damn near glorious.

Well if you can get your game to work past the end of this ep your lucks better than mine; just love CTD without even a log file.
What GPU are you using? I was able to stabilize it with Buffout 4, High FPS Physics Fix, and Loading Times Fix. But I never got a crash at the train sequence like many do. I am using the Steam version, and not even a clean install.

21:55 - You found some Roid (aka Buffout). Taking that would give you +2 Strength, which would be useful when trying to open that jammed door you found earlier. Now you'll forever be wondering what was in that room (at least until you do another playthrough).

I'll admit I'm a tiny bit disappointed that tea doesn't do something British. Increases Stiff-Upper-Lip stamina, or English Accent Charisma, or +5 to melee weapons.
