She would point at me and sing you are beloved so be loved and light up when I laughed. It's really hard to not have her here, but listening to the song helps a lot. She was a goofball.

I just lost my grandmother Nov. 19 & the loss has been excruciating. Last night I couldn’t even begin to unwind due to the emotional turmoil I was having. Then this song was released & I of course listened to it, cried, listened again, cried some more, then smiled. Then felt a lot better & laid down turned on my playlist of all Ben’s songs I have saved on Spotify & i was out w/in minutes. Praying for you in your time of grief. I’m right there w/ you.
I've just finished my master's thesis after months of hard work, and I decided to listen to this song. I must admit that I listened to it at its premiere and wasn’t particularly excited.

Not a question, just wanting to point out, how amazing this whole music journey has been. You really are taking us on a journey through life basically (maybe by own experiences or witnessed experiences, etc ). Through events, we all can recognise ourselves in. It is truly brave to show those kind of emotions. How we went from hopeful in 11:11, where you wish for the stars to align one day, and now the stars aligned in Nevermind, but your hopes were dashed and defeated. But even then you get back up. I know this is kind of a "what came first, the chicken or the egg" type of question, but I would love to know if Ben has always been a hopeful and optimistic person and it inevitably showed in his songs, or if he decided on purpose to write hopeful and happy songs, and if that has had any impact on his daily life? Either way, I hope he knows that his music is beautiful and brightens up my day (especially when I'm stuck in traffic)
I think Ive always been defined by a hopefulness but sharing the way that my brain and heart work through lyrics has certainly helped me feel more free and less afraid of judgement somehow!
