I'm french, you have no idea how bad things are. We tried to remove citizenship granted by simply being born on the french soil recently, and the leftists were burning governement buildings and threatening to kill people who supported this bill.
Results are, nothing has changed. It feels like we are living in a dictatorship where violents militias get the last say when there are any kind of vote. And they dare to say we live in a democracy.
You dont threaten people with violence in a democracy, no matter if the result of votes doesn't suit your opinions. All these so called socialists and antifascists behave like religious fanatics, with the blessing of the current governement.
Seeing how native english are being jailed in your country for simply protesting, I'd say we probably are in a similar state of authoritarism.
Good luck guys, the way things are going, we both are gonna need it.

Six weeks is not a long enough delay to conclude that Macron is refusing to do his job. However, if this delay continues, it would be more apparent that Macron is sabotaging the functioning of the French government for his own political gain. Melenchon has to suggest impeachment now even if he doesn't intend to pursue it right now. If nothing is said then, winning the last election got the left almost nothing. The left did indeed win the election. Under standard rules, one of their party members gets to be Prime Minister. Macron has a strong political motivation for refusing to do his own job.

The French electorate always vote with passionate, hopeful optimism in their hearts, rather than hindsight and experience in their heads. The French political system is designed, deliberately, to result in factional coalitions. A coalition of the Left here, is like a sack full of badgers, cats, terriers and foxes; tied up and kicked up the lane.
At the mercy of the Left, the metaphorical sack is opened in the chicken coop. It has happened many times before, but it doesn't matter; because the chickens voted for the predators, some for the foxes, some for the badgers et c. and there's the cockerel, who voted for "none of the above" and thinks he should be in charge.

To impeach the King? Since Elisabeth II refused to take any role in government at all and let the politicians just run with it, and people today believe that's seriously the role of the monarchy and she was a good monarch … she already has more or less derelicted the sovereign monarch. The power essentially has moved over to the prime minister who is the leader of the majority party in parliament -- so, who should impeach him?
The only way would be if there were recall votes in MP constituencies. There was a while ago some movement to get there. Given how voting is being cheated by the elite these days, I think those constitutional efforts are long past their sell by date. Such fiddling with the details won't do anymore, today, in the extreme situation we find ourselves in these days!
