C Tucker I was taught to drive 36 years ago by a fabulous, Young Drivers of Canada, instructor. She taught me all of this and more. Saved my life driving in both Peel Region, Ontario and Inuvik, Northwest Territories. So happy to see it still applies. I do have a tip for Justin in this video. Check your hand positions. 10 & 2 o'clock not 9 & 3. And I question those index fingers position. Now we need to share this video with everyone. Not my driving, nor my husband's that worry me, it's the other driver's who grab that space in front of you when you leave space, the speeders and the cockiness of the young ones.
Thanks for sharing that, and great point. Will be watching my hand position more carefully... I remember overhearing an interesting argument between 9:00 and 3:00, and 10:00 and 2:00, between a couple of race car driver types. I'll have to ask around and see if I can dig up the conclusion! Cheers from Northern Ontario!
I just started learning how to drive at 34 years old. I have my G1 (Ontario) I seriously have NO IDEA how the heck anyone can drive in the winter here. I've been doing lessons with my Fiancee (A G driver with 5+ years experience) And I have trouble telling where the turning lanes are, where the lanes are in general, slipping, fish tailing, etc. Any tips, driving hacks, for a newbie like me? Like how are you able to tell where are lanes/turning lanes if the roads are covered?
INVEST in great tires Snow means slow Watch your surrounding pump your brakes if you have to stop relax when driving take a big breath if you get nervous
Simple, no-brainer tips that still needed to be emphasized because most people forget them, unfortunately. Thanks!

just give the kids a break, the speeders (me being one) are like dogs chasing cars
we cant explain it :D but love to do it
TURN ON all of your lights during snow fall/rain/fog/ windy overcast winter day!!!
But not high beams if there is a car in front of you or coming in the opposite direction because the light will blind out the view…
Awesome tips! I think some of us react slower than others have to give more space than they normally do.
Great tips, man. Stay safe!
mostly common sense. What most drivers need to know is how to react when you are in skidding!

@@anjaneyagaming295 since apparently you just got here, welcome to you!
Why are you driving wearing a trapper hat? It reduces your peripheral vision.
