Brilliant reaction to an outstanding performance by all involved!
I remember hearing that huge swell of "...it will take time..." for the first time. I'm kind of jaded the older I get, but that brought tears to my eyes.
So happy you've analysed this! My favourite Ninet/Steven song has to be Routine. Gives me chills every time!
I can see the parallels with don't give up. It's a duet sung in series about a relationship.
If you look at the chord progression it's very similar to Purple rain by Prince (which is in Bb, not A - I think)
I love Ninet's understated performance on this track. She kept a lid on her powerful voice.

Such a beautiful song that got me though a tough time when it was released. As usual Steven is a legend, but hats off to Ninet in this song. She is fabulous! I've listened to some of her own material over the last few years and it's always interesting and captivating. Lovely review Aleksandra. So jealous that you were there!
