I've been looking for this theme for a while and gave up. Imagine that I found it now. This is great!

Man this theme song brings back fond childhood memories, memories of days gone by and simpler times.
The 1997 version is what I came for. It makes me cry every single time. I might've not seen the show, but this theme is one of the most beautiful songs I have EVER heard.
Happy 75th Thomas! This song makes me cry with happiness this was my first TV Show I watched as I was little, I even watch it now as an adult , timeless, and Thomas will always be my best friend

These are some my EARLIEST memories man. I miss the early-to-mid-90’s. Lamb Chop, Magic Schoolbus, Mister Roger’s Neighborhood, Reading Rainbow, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, Adventures from the Book of Virtues (based off Aesop’s Fables), Where in the World is Carmen San Diego? Arthur, Wishbone (personal fav), Bill Nye the Science Guy [“Bill! Bill!”], Theodore Tugboat, Zoboomafoo, Between the Lions (that one came toward the end of the decade actually) and many other just fantastic PBS shows! Very grateful for free public television which looking back really was just far superior and much more calm than some of the other Disney and Nickelodeon options not to knock them, but these shows were just categorically more peaceful and really did help me learn so much about the world fulfilling their educational mission, but also showing that learning is fun!

This song is actually about to make me cry right now. Thomas was practically everything to me when I was little. I loved watching Shining Time Station on VHS tapes as a kid. I never knew that there was a full version of this song either... There are just so many memories rushing back to me all at once.

I didn't actually find out about this show until I was about 14 or 15, but I've still gotten to love it. Anyone who hasn't seen any of it yet seriously should. Stacy's right when she describes the station; "There's just something about this place."

I loved this show as a kid. So many wonderful memories of wstching this over at my grandparents house. Kevin Roth had such a beautiful singing voice! It just fits the feeling of the show.
Being British, I am not the biggest fan of Shining Time (no offence to anyone who is), but it’s theme song will always be lovely to listen to.

No matter what rendition of the theme song I hear it's very beautiful and very soothing I have had a bit of a downfall with my obsession with range and I'm trying to get back into it certain reasons include the pandemic and a few other things but this was nice to see thank you for making it and God bless you sir Mr conductor

My special needs son loves trains 🚆🚃🚄🚅🚇🚈🚊🚝🚞🚋🛤🚂 and Shining Time Station 🚉 I myself think it is a very wholesome show that teaches us morals; something Hollywood seems to have forgotten about today 😞😔. The theme song sometimes makes my son cry 😢😭 because he says it is just full of nostalgia and maybe causes you to ask yourself: why can't things be the way they were before? Why couldn't they stay the same? And he would love for this show to be aired on public television 📺 again as well as Mister Rodgers Neighborhood, Adventures in Odyssey, and Between the Lions 🦁.

I've seen these miniature 424 steam locomotive replicas at deer acres family amusement park in pinconning Michigan back when I was 5 years old I was jealous of how the cement statue of the tin toy soldier was taller then me I wish the Detroit zoo had one of those especially if was to be really steam powered plenty of storm damaged trees around the zoo and beyond and the countless landscapers that go around Michigan have abundance of firewood from broken trees and fences and more
Shining Time Station aired its last regular new episode on June 11, 1993, and continued to air reruns on PBS until June 11, 1998. Four one hour long “Family Specials” premiered in prime time throughout 1995. The spinoff “Mr. Conductor’s Thomas Tales” aired from October 7, 1996 to November 11, 1996.
