Ive been trying to make a video about this subject for a while now and every time I sit down to edit I delete is because it doesn't feel like Im giving you everything I want. This time I decided just go for it.
There's still so much I want to say on this subject but I am aware that no one will sit and watch a 3 hour RUclips video haha.
So baby steps :)
We all have our image of "perfection" and most times instead of motivating us it brings us down. Learn to be your own kind of perfect and to admire someone else's beauty without questioning your own.

women should empower each other, not put each other down! i see so many girls trying to put other girls down because of the most dumb and unnecessary things.. just compliment other people, tell them what you think is amazing about them, be kind, tell the people you love how much you appreciate them. this is so important! it can make someones day and i promise, it makes you feel so much better. all the good things will come back to you, just be patient.
i really started to focus on my personality as well. i was thinking about my actions a lot more, my attitude. my goal was basically to become a positive and kind person. i stopped being pessimistic, i started to really appreciate the people around me. it changed me and the way i see everything so much!

Even though we know all these things, it's easy to fall back because there is not enough positivity out there, and it's out of balance. But it's a choice nonetheless, every day, every moment, a choice to do better. Be kinder to ourselves first, our own mistakes, and allow ourselves to be better with less self criticism. You don't need a huge set up, you are just natural! I'm from Argentina, I discovered your videos a few days ago and I'm watching them all. The nutritional tips are really good, I have irritable colon and I'm suffering a lot. I go to a nutritionist here and we are trying to search everything that makes me feel bad, but it's a long term process... Very important and meaningful! I completely agree. Its an epidemic nowadays, a society that feeds on insecurities to sell more products...If we all gave one another compliments life would look differently. Even look at makeup tutorials, theyre basically teaching how to draw a new face instead of enjoying your own. Anyway, definitely important message on focusing on whats within, emotionally, intellectually
Its like looking good in a photo or having a good instagram post of where you are is more important than immersing yourself in the situation youre in, having an intoxicating conversation about everything and nothing.
Makeup tutorials could also be seen as a way to celebrate your face. Its a form of art. It helps a lot of individuals with self-confidence and channeling different moods. Plus its a lot of fun. But I understand where you are coming from! Sigh if only more people were able to love themselves and accept others we would all be in a better place.

I always make it a point to try and compliment women on features that are not physical. Our hair, skin, body -- these are all features that will eventually fade, but people will never forget how we made them feel.

I can so relate to this video.. at 24 when I look back at similar situations I was in when I was 15, I just know that's its a matter of perspective!! and I also have read some wonderful biographies.. my experiments with truth by M.K.Gandhi just opened my eyes.. also The Beauty Myth by Naomi Wolf.. also I think learning to find humour and a silver lining in every situation is the way forward to living life with a positive attitude!

Thank you for sharing! I never thought about what I want others to remember me of. This litterally changes me, because I have always wanted to look stunning infront of people but never thought about engaging with others in a interesting converstation. Sometimes I would go depressed over why people dont like me as much or how ridiculous I look. Now i know why.
I agree with you and i also think that taking care of yourself does not mean 'selfish', it is actually a way of being responsible to ourselves as adults, since nobody else is responsible for ourselves more than our own

You are completely right, the most important step to learn to accept yourself is just being true to who you are and work hard to become the person you want to be and not to look like someone ; if you have this you will totally accept the way you look. Culture and connecting to people, being natural and authentic are, for me, the most important things.
Very often "the beauty" and "the mind" (not sur if these words are serving my ideas well but you see where I'm going) are separate, especially for women : or you're beautiful, or you're smart, if you're smart you don't have to care about the way you look, if you're cute you don't have to care about your general knowledge. And I thing it's wrong !
And I feel that accepting yourself for who you are and not for the way you look is often confused with not taking care of you at all. So there is a huge paradox in the way a modern woman is seen in society !
I love that you bring us every side of a woman's life in your channel, not only beauty, nutritional tips but also a way of thinking and a way of connecting to the world. By being so natural and authentic you inspire me to do so and to stop worrying about people's opinion :)
I completely agree with you on so many points and truly wish that people would stop trying to be someone else as soon as they see someone they admire and rather accept people and theirselves for their uniqueness.

I agree...especially young girls need to get this message among the bombardment of advertisement, playing into teenage insecurities. One is so much more than the sum of all parts. I like what you said about being a ball of good energy; it does inspire others...sometimes I just want exclaim, Can we all just stop feeling so bad about ourselves?! On top of that it all is so bloody self-involved. There is a big world out there, outside of this self.
I just wanted to add that I am not condemning wanting to look beautiful or judging any focus on that, but there is an elegant way of approaching it, so that, as you point out, you are a well-rounded person that inspires others. (PS: I am a huge fan of Diane Von Furstenberg).

When I saw this video I was like "oh my here it goes! Another beautiful woman talking about confidence" which is a thing that usually really annoys me because it sounds like a paradox when a model talks about how to love herself since due to her profession she has to fit in some stereotypes : thin, tall, gorgeous face etc... I really liked this video. I usually don't like videos talking about how to earn confidence but I really liked this one because you pointed out the importance of improving personality with great details of how to improve the personality. I always try to be optimistic but I can never get out from thinking myself very pessimistic. This video made me feel like I can improve start loving myself.
