I really enjoyed learning more about the box, the pieces and the culture in this doll. I got her because my nephews are half Filipino and of course because the doll is beautiful. I love that this girl is a curvy. Curvy girls are haute couture too.
I bought this doll the minute it was made available, and I haven’t unboxed it yet. I really enjoyed your unboxing as your info will make all those amazing details more meaningful! I think her face is so so gorgeous and I’m excited to see that her tattoos are extensive. Thank you for a great video!
She is very beautiful! Of all the newer releases from Mattel, she is definitely a favorite! I love all her accessories and the outfit so luxe looking as well. I wonder if it be worth to get a second one and maybe paint all the accessories silver? Then you have both tones. Then you can a re-paint the second doll so she have a true sister. Just a thought?
I LOVE that Mattel gave this doll’s designer the free rein to celebrate the culture! The tattoos are amazing and I love her! I want to get her & the Diwali Barbie ASAP but the price (although def worth it) is just too high for me rn, ❤I’m afraid they will only go UP in price from resellers.😢
@@Amanda_thehashtag_wut definitely a must have. The Diwali Barbie went up in price so quickly and this one will definitely go up in price once she’s sold out
She is gorgeous and truly maganda (out of the box especially but if my mom and I were to be asked, once we get her, we will keep her in box). The Mutya Barbie from 2015, also designed by Carlyle Nuera, using the Kira face sculpt, looks gorgeous as well in her pink Filipiniana (she comes with a fan as an accessory). Before Mutya Barbie and this Styled by Design #2 by Carlyle Nuera, there were several waves of Filipina Barbie collector dolls produced by Richwell. We used to have a few of them and would like to retrieve them soon. Mabuhay 🇵🇭
I think you confused “bahay kubo” to “bahay na bato”. Bahay kubo had always been traditional ancient Filipino derived from the balangay. The bahay na bato is the one that’s spanish inspired
I ordered her the other day, couldn’t get her out of my head. It’s incredible what the designers can do when they get a decent budget.
@@addbrain yasss congrats! Hope you love her when she arrives
