oooh i just LOVED when i saw Joey´s brother on stage. Since i saw him in en d of the century documentary he seemed to me kind of one more ramone, as he said "Joey were a freak, i mean we were all freaks, but he was more like a hippie freak"

No one asked, but as a Ramones enthusiast, I wanted to add my $0.02
I'm not a fan of Richie Ramone. He's a good drummer, but of the three (real) Ramones drummers, he takes number 3. I'm glad he left the band, paving the way for Marky to return. My biggest criticism about him is complaining about how he wasn't making T-shirt money but he continues to play their music, since it's what made him money to begin with, and it's the reason why he has any sort of relevancy in music. His website brags about his accomplishments in the Ramones and how he was the most "prolific" and "powerful" drummer, and if I remember correctly, he also brags about being their "fastest" drummer. In his interviews he bashes Johnny Ramones guitar skills, but his website name drops him by saying his one of his handpicked favorites was Somebody Put Something in My Drink.
Again, no one asked, but I just can't take Richie very seriously. However, from a musician's standpoint, he's unique and brought a new theory of drumming to the Ramones, adding quick fills and replacing snare hits with a tom. But from a personal perspective, he's quite hypocritical.
I'm a huge Richie fan and would take him over Marky every time. He is certainly better than Tommy, but I prefer Tommy's light old school style. It was a better fit for the Ramones. As far as Johnny goes, Joey and Marky have said some pretty shitty things about Johnny too. I love Johnny. He was my favorite Ramone.
On a side note, I'm indifferent to CJ vs Dee Dee. Both were excellent Ramones and I wouldn't pick one over the other.
Taking his point of view and comparing it to how he feels in 2020 whatever is apple's to oranges, he wasn't playing their music in the 90s

It do have the drive but nothing more then a cover ss , I didnt point it down but the Ramones as band has more. They forgot making music when Phil Spector did produce their songs ss All Ramone fans, just as I am .
