Last year we covered the song Bonzo Goes To Bitburg from the Ramones album Animal Boy. We decided to bring back some of the same lineup from that one (plus a few new joiners) to cover another favourite from that record. This is my goosebumps song, especially that third verse. Holy freakin' smokes!! This was breathtaking and I immediately felt the happy tears coming on. A year ago when you released Bonzo, I didn't think it could get much better than that, well I was wrong. This song hit all of the major heart chords. I didn't know that I needed this one as much as I did. I had been struggling a bit lately but this served as a reminder that we are not in this daily struggle that is life, alone. This project of Mikey and his Uke struck a note with me from Bonzo and continues to do so with each and every release and I am so grateful for each and every one of you involved. Today, this aging punk's heart grew two sizes. Thank you, Mikey and Crew.

HAHA this is funnybecause I feel exactly the same. when bonzo has been out it was my favourite songs and now it is this one. I listened Bonzo everyday for a year and it help a lot with the hard time I had. Thank you to Mikey and his Uke. ❤❤

59 year old OG punk - this song is now our theme song. It’s 6:30 - I’m on the back patio looking at my dogs and chickens and the Arizona morning this song 1st song every morning - my wife has stage 4 this is our life song now - thanks Mikey for putting out THE best music and Joey Ramone for changing my life when I was 14. Cannot say enough about how amazing this is!!!!!

I love the Ramones, not just their music but what they did for music. I enjoy when people cover the Ramones because they do it because they love the Ramones too or just know they were brilliant. Covers usually never sound right though because no one will ever be as good as Johnny on guitar but damn Rose you come really damn close. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years and I can't play johnny style as well as Rose just did. And as always Mikey, don't ever stop

There's nothing to say, this video comes at a time when the world is going through such turmoil, the moment I saw Mickey Leigh's I missed Joey, a simple person who has no idea that his songs were going to be so important to people like us here in Brazil, I grew up listening to Ramones today I'm 45 years old and these songs are important today and at the time we had no idea that it was going to take on that grandeur. The positioning of her fingers on her strumming hand really nail it. When I was much younger and first learning guitar and trying to emulate the Ramones I tried to do that and IT HURTS.

you know how this u2b thing works, - ya watch a video once and it's likely gonna be on that right side of the screen when you come back. watch it twice, 3 times, it's gonna be there almost all the time. and, i gotta tell you, Mikey...and your Uke too = it's just really hard not to click on it. not cause i'm in it - i think i kinda look like some confused rock-punk who just got home after getting laid off from his used-car salesman job. ...maybe that works for this song tho. but i can't resist the energy and vibe shooting outta the screen...if you can picture that. ...i can't picture it either. i just feel it. the production is painfully perfect (the pain is from the envy. that's the sound a lot of us want EVERY time. your engineer's got mojo - compliments to the chef. the cast of characters is a blend the highest paid hollywood casting agents couldn't have put together better than you did. I love this song. as much as any other song i ever loved. but to see diversity, the children of ALL ages so loving it -the way i do- after all these years ...is invigorating. the joy is abounding ..and that drummer is wicked sharp...ruthless! damn!! i;ve only seen this vid of your catalog..so far. but, you got the spirit, kid. my brother was a big proponent of the "punk" philosophy' (if there is such a thing) that "punk" isn't about being "angry", it;s about being yourself and being proud to be you. you're a bright spot in the bleakness, Mikey, and you gather people together. i hope my brother will forgive me saying i listen to this version more than his lately. or for watching this video more than his lately, as well. ..and i made it into that one too. ..thanks for including me in this one. keep the spirit. represent!

Same here. For me, I know they are happy tears. Happy tears because these videos serve as a reminder that we are not in this alone. Punk rock means community and love and I've never seen it put more well on display than these videos(outside of the action we see within our scenes but even that can get a little muckied up sometimes). These videos just feel so goddamn genuine.

I've commented on this video before. Listening/watching again as I have many times compelled me to comment again. This is such a positive uplifting song to hear and to bring back into the spotlight. Especially at this time with the pandemic and other issues going on in the world. It makes me happy every time I hear and see it. All Mikie and crew's music is fantastic but this one is at the top for me. Love seeing when the artists smile as they are having a good time making it!

I forget her name (but I am familiar with the Ramones covers that she and her sister do on their channel), but the young girl with the Mosrite guitar has Johnny Ramone's 'stage moves' down pat. She nails them. Right down to his posture and the occasional head dip that he started doing after he stopped doing his spins in the early 80s/late 70s. I love seeing young people digging good music.
