Thanks for the tips. I removed 100% of 1 year old red candle wax from my beige carpet. It took 12 minutes! The stain was the size of a round coffee mug. I used a iron set at the maximum temperature and a damp white cloth. Repeated the step’s several times and the wax is completely gone and my carpet looks new again! I think the trick to remove 100% of the wax would be to use a hot iron at its highest setting and a damp white cloth.
I can assume you this works! Got some wax in the carpet of nice villa I stayed in during vacation, waited 3 days later to take it out… used the paper with hotel map and the iron, came out in literal seconds! You saved me a $200 deposit!
Omg. I would land on this video AFTER finding that rubbing alcohol will help remove the wax. Thar being said I'm super paranoid to try the iron method in fear of causing an explosion/dangerous reaction of some sort. Any tips on removal that won't cause harm now that it's drenched in alcohol?
Luckily alcohol evaporates quickly! So just give it a day and then try ironing the next day. Also, your iron temperature will be on low which is below the combustion temperature of alcohol.
I dont have ocd by any means but to watch him perfectly iron so many rags then just to wad them up... It hurt a little. Lol jk but for real im f+++++ because i spilt(sp?) Hair remover wax on my cars floorboard. I hope this works!
@@RaptorRenovation actually had baking paper. 😳 the area is so hard now and I tried everything I could. I've seen it yesterday that vinegar and salt could help. And I'll try my carpet cleaner machine as well :(
Baking paper? Like parchment paper? That is a non stick paper and would not work. So it just melted the wax and pushed it further into the carpet. Like in the video you need to use paper towels or packing paper... they can absorb the melted wax.
Thanks for the tip! I am renting a house and my sister got some wax on the carpet I had no idea how to get rid of it, you saved me!
You are welcome!!
iron and paper towels worked 100% too! Thanks for the idea!
Excellent!
i finally did it... took an old sheet put it over the candle wax with a warm iron and it does work... its all gone....thank you
Awesome!!!!
This worked with a blow dryer as well!
What kind of paper did you use?

Yes, I think this method took so long because he used minimum to low (synthetics) heat.
You saved me! Lol, the wax had just hit the floor and was still hot. I managed to get done cleaning in just under an hour. Thank you so much!
Did you use paper or a rag?
Thanks for the tip to turn off the steam setting and for clarity on how long this took. I have a showing. Today
You are welcome!!
I used print paper and it took a few sheets about 7.. but it worked well enough you cant see the spot where the wax dropped and splashed
Well this definitely works candle on light gray carpet and the Staind is gone now it takes a little while it took me 1 hour
I just did this and it worked perfectly!!
I can assume you this works! Got some wax in the carpet of nice villa I stayed in during vacation, waited 3 days later to take it out… used the paper with hotel map and the iron, came out in literal seconds! You saved me a $200 deposit!
Wow! It worked. Finished under 5 mins thank you
Always stoked to hear that our video helped someone!!
Blow dryer works great!!
thank you, fabric and iron👍👍👍😊
I use a wet microfiber rag with medium heat gets it up fast with no staining
Good suggestion!
Just did this myself. It picked up 99.32% of the wax. Just got a light oily feeling. I did it it with a wet towel at the end to steam up more.

So did you get the entire stain out or is it a light wax left
It all came out! But still smelt like the candle sent for a while after.
Wet the rag to draw the wax out fast
Spray affected area with water. Helps wax rise out of the effected area
That is okay with some waxes... other times the water can actually pull the dye out of the wax and allow it to spread.
I wonder if freezing the wax would work. I’m thinking the cans of air that you use to clean your computer, keyboard, etc. 🤔
Freezing will only work on very small wax stains, if it is larger than the heat works better.
that bug at the end came to check your work! lol
🤣
How to remove candle wax from wood floor
That is a good suggestion!! If you have a sealed wood floor I would suggest using ice to freeze the wax and scrap it off with a plastic scraper.
Does the wax get on your iron plate?
Not if you keep a clean piece of paper or cloth under it
Thank you so much that really works!!!
You are welcome :)
Works very well
wat kind of paper is this though?
It is packing paper. Below is a link to it!

Can I use paper towels you think
Yeah give it a shot!
Did the paper towels work?
Next time wax paper it works it may have been harder for you being someone tried to clean it before with something
I dont have ocd by any means but to watch him perfectly iron so many rags then just to wad them up... It hurt a little. Lol jk but for real im f+++++ because i spilt(sp?) Hair remover wax on my cars floorboard. I hope this works!
Good luck and it should work!
It doesn't work for me. And I think it's worse than before :(
Ohh no! What kind of paper did you use?

Yeah I figured. I made it worse lol. I don't think I can fix it anymore can I? I want think, clear evidence is my carpet!
You can try the iron trick again but use paper towels or packing paper and see if it is able to work. It won't make it any worse.
Use a wet rag
I don't think a wet rag will remove dried wax from carpet...
How get wax out of carpet
Just watch the video and find out! Ask any questions you may have!
