I'm planning a scouting trip to Merida in the coming weeks and was wondering what area you would recommend for a short stay with access (walking or Uber) to key eateries/shopping. I could DEFINITELY live there. Great looking house. Is it walking distance to the boardwalk area? When I was in Progreso I walked along that boardwalk and saw all the restaurants, bars & the museum. Thanks!
it's a little to the west of the pier, we can see the pier from the house but i dunno if its walking distance, might need a bike at least
