That was the only thing missing from the SoR series; a Guy type character. The rom hack that allows you to play as Guy in SoR is awesome and takes care of this little problem quite nicely. That said, I do wish we'd of gotten a badass ninja character in the original games.

but this is bk3 directors cut hack, right? in this hack theres a little problem if final boss get you with shiva. apart of this nasty glitch and some others, the hack work is splendid...

Someone commented below it was the Director's Cut Hack, downloaded version 1.5 off Romhacking, but it has a Red SEGA logo and a different "square" select screen. Can't select Shiva after one Continue like you did here either. thx anyway
You must first fight Shiva, and during his death animation press and hold B + Start at the same time After which you will be able to choose Shiva once you've ran out of lives Edit - There are also other romhacks that allow you to play as Shiva from the start, although most of them will change Shiva's moveset

no, this is a HACK. you should visit streets of rage online, there you can find many new sor2 and sor3 hacks with many COOL things. for example, pancake, the tool for edit the chars and allow you make your own chars with your own characters, or the english patch for bk3 japanese, or sor2 syndicate wars hack (where all the enemies are PLAYABLE!) and many many other SORprises ;) look at the streets of rage online page donwloads for every title, and get the ips patches for use with the original roms. or visit the hacking forum thread, for see the newer hacks... ... and by the way, this hack of the video is bk3 directors cut hack... ;) also, visit my site if you want to enjoy other very cool fangames old school style... greetings ;)

I wish Shiva was really like this in SOR/Bare Knuckle 3. They nerfed him big time when he became a playable character.
His Final Crash move even make that lightning effect, thats awesome

I was good with Shiva in black back in the Sega Genesis days.
Custom Difficulty AI is locked to Mania=Very Hard and Hard=Very Hard in this hack,please notice the AI Pattern and Aggression
