Try getting in touch with your doctor on the NHS in the UK. It often takes 2 weeks to get a return call from an Epilepsy nurse.
Changing medications? Adjusting dosages? These are things that take months to get the ball rolling with as far as getting Drs to do their job.

My meds are not controlling my seizures at all now I've been on that many different tablets over the last four years. I'm currently in talks with consultants/surgeons and few upcoming appointments waiting for face to face. First option was VNS , now I'm opting by choosing a major brain operation to be seizure free at Queen Elizabeth hospital ( UK )

    Hello Sir,
Hope you are doing well! I have been watching your videos and they are very informative.
I have a medical issue of General Epilepsy (triggers- mainly stress, lack of sleep or fever, last seizure was on 19th July 2023 due to stress which I got after 2 years)
I also have WPW syndrome and I had undergone ablation treatment in the year 2019 however this was not successful. I currently don’t have any symptoms or palpitations caused by WPW.
I recently got married last year, my husband and I are thinking about family planning but what bothers me the most is passing my health illness to the child in any form.
Could you please advice how should we go about this and what are the risks involved during and post pregnancy.
    Also my medicines are:
    Levepil 750 morning
    Folic acid 5 mg morning
    Lamitor OD 100 morning
    Levepil 1000 night
    Lamitor OD 100 night
I’ll be very grateful to you if you could guide us 🙏🏼

hi, I got epilepsy from a vaccine when I was little, then I had a seizure, they punctured my spine, I left the hospital, they told him that it would happen again, when I turned 18, I had a seizure and since then I suffered until 2011, I left to the operation, the operation was successful and after 2 years, the doctor told me that I can drive in 2017, mine said that I can stop taking the tablets, I was afraid until now, which means that I drink and 13 years after the operation that I did, my epilepsy was called temporal lobe epilepsy from the day of the operation I didn't have seizures, but I was afraid to stop the pills and now I'm tired of them, I drink tegretol 300 mg in the morning and 300 mg in the evening and now I started to stop it, it's been 7 days, is it safe since my Neurology said that there won't be any more attacks and gave my paper how can i stop in 12 weeks thanks in advance

Can you please watch a video of my daughter? I believe she is having multiple seizures a day. Her first seizure was complex partial secondary generalized it went on for hours and she received multiple emergency meds from ems and the hospital that was last August. Her eeg now is showing more generalized with photosensitivity. she started doing these movements in May every few days now it is happening multiple times a day. And she had hit her head a few times on the wall during them. I got the video from her Sami3 I haven't been able to catch one on my phone they happen so fast. Her epileptologist thinks it is stimming from the videos but I don't think so.

Hello doctor, i hope my message finds you well,
    i'm 28 yo, and i have epilepsy both absence and normal seizures, wich started since 2014/2015;
the absence seizure is usually trigged during the day sometime causing me pee without control
the normal seizure is usually trigged when i'm sleeping during the night (eyes rolling up and body shaking)
currently i'm treatment "Dépakine Chrono 500mg" it helps a lot reducing the seizures at night (the normal seizures)
i work as a developer wich means i interact a lot with the computer, my hobbies are playing video games but not to much, i make sure to get enough sleep, but sometimes i sleep late specially during Ramadan
do you have any advices for me to help control or reduce the Absence Seizures special that lately i cause me to pee on my self, i have seen a Urologist, but everything is ok
i also heard lately that Magnesium Glycinate 400 mg Nature's Branch helps witch this kind of seizures, i still didn't try it because it's on Amazon and can't be delivered to Morocco
Thank you so much doctor, i hope you read my message

I don't really know what I was diagnosed with like 6 ish years ago doctor said it was a slight form of epilepsy, ( whenever I closed my eyes, when I try to sleep or even when I was in class and teachers would say close your eyes even for a couple seconds if I wasn't focused fully on my breathing I would get a little tremble like a little shake, it really affected me when I was sleeping but I didn't saw anything until a day my mom was sleeping with me a couple years later when we moved and a doctor saw me) I was put on Keppra it works but I've noticed self things on myself I don't know if this was even the right drug for me also idk if there are better prescriptions I could be put on if anyone could help thnx

Hey I know this is video is a few months old but I'm hoping some people are lurking in the comments section that might be able to help me. I've been having what at first I thought was nightmares or sleep paralysis but after what happened last night I think it might be seizures.
It starts when I'm just about fully asleep but not quite with me imagining/half dreaming something is looking in my window or last night it was the imagined sounds of talking outside my house and this triggers an intense fear to start. It's similar to the feeling as you wake up from a nightmare, just that palpable intense fear, along with tingling face and extremities, and mild confusion.
Usually these symptoms subside quickly once I fully wake up and I go back to sleep after a minute or two but last night it continued to build and then I felt a rushing/tingling feeling that went up my body into my head and my vision started to black out and sound became distorted, everything souded robotic and garbled. This continued in ebbing cycles of greater then less intensity for what I think was a minute or two. Towards the end of this I noticed my hands were numb and tingling especially my left, and after the episode stopped I felt freezing cold even though my room is kept on the warm side.
This was terrifying and I lay awake for some time after wondering what just occurred. I decided to research as soon as I woke up this morning. I am absolutely going to see my doctor but in the meantime if anyone here has any knowledgable comments, advice, or similar experiences to share with me I would greatly appreciate it as I am feeling alone and frightened at the moment.

So glad to find this video!
I was prescribed Briviact and was told by my neuro not to stop taking abruptly. Because it's a controlled substance, I cannot refill the prescription until the day before I'm out, but it takes 3 days for the pharmacy to receive the order.
This was a big stress for 10 months, but also a blessing in disguise because it was causing bronchial spasms and issues with my asthma. I had a gap due to a lack of availability from Pharmacy and all the sudden my breathing problems went away. That allowed me to prove to the doctor that the Briviact was causing my bronchial spasms and they switched me to Zonisamide, which I'm liking a lot better. Better availability, less depression, my creativity is coming back, my happy emotions are coming back, and the breathing troubles are over after 10 months.
Only had a few seizures when stopping Briviact.

No medicines or anything works...no eeg, no test has been able to detect anything or cause. So crazy! 😢 I feel like keto is my only hope left. I cry everyday bc I'm tired of having these seizures. I had them on road trips, cars, target, mall....it's so bad that my husband doesn't even want to take me to any public areas afraid I might have one...AGAIN! I don't even drive bc I don't wanna accidentally get in an accident and take someone else's life as result of my inconsideration/selfness and desperation to drive. I just wanna be normal. I'm tired of having seizures! Feels like I gotta try keto ❤

Doctor, help. Is it tetany or epilepsy? Positive tetany test. Attacks only at night. One hand clenches itself into a fist. Arm twisting. Slight tremors and tongue biting. Does biting your tongue during an attack always mean epilepsy? Could this be a tetany attack? Sorry for mistakes. I am writing from another country.

The best way to tell them apart is to do a long video EEG and record the events and check the brain waves at the time which will show if was a seizure or spasms

It is a new medication so maybe some pharmacies do not have enough in stock.. I believe all big pharmacies should have it
