I believe comparing the Virat's MRF bat with other contemporary bats is a small size due to this outside-off ball taking edge. If he uses a slightly big bat, e.g., a Rohit CEAT bat. With this bat, Virat can middle those outside off balls. Because while he was using the Big Nike bat, he didn't have this issue.
