I understand cricket as well as anyone for a lay person and I observe patterns as well as anyone. Your observations are spot on and often align with what I come up with - somehting I feel proud about because you're a proper certified analyst who ought to be in the coaching staff of the Indian team (and I am just a lay person). It's too bad you've been excluded from further opportunities - if I had to guess it's because you don't kiss ass and speak your mind (something that does not fly in Indian cricket or society... same applies to R. Ashwin). Ashwin could have played 2 more years if they had treated him with dignity (he may have continued to feel joy from cricket). Pujara, another non-flashy non-star, got pushed out. Rohit needs to sit out if he has any decency from the last test and probably Kohli should too. There is no analyst who is more right more often than you. I understand cricket as well as anyone for a lay person and I observe patterns as well as anyone. Your observations are spot on and often align with what I come up with - somehting I feel proud about because you're a proper certified analyst who ought to be in the coaching staff of the Indian team (and I am just a lay person). It's too bad you've been excluded from further opportunities - if I had to guess it's because you don't kiss ass and speak your mind (something that does not fly in Indian cricket or society... same applies to R. Ashwin).
Ashwin could have played 2 more years if they had treated him with dignity (he may have continued to feel joy from cricket). Pujara, another non-flashy non-star, got pushed out. Rohit needs to sit out if he has any decency from the last test and probably Kohli should too.
