One thing my aunt told me when I came to nz, umiwas daw sa mga Filipino. I questioned that because I was "sabik" makameet ng mga pinoys pero that changed kasi naexperience ko first-hand how some Filipinos are overseas, lots of gossip and crab mentality. One common factor sa mga nakilala ko na matagal na sa nz is unang tanong sa akin, "anung visa mo" or kaya "paano ka nakarating ng nz."
I immersed myself with different cultures and widened my network instead.
I do have filipino friends pero bilang lang talaga.

I had the same experience here in Singapore. Yung kapwa Pinoy pa yung hahatak sayo pababa. Though hindi naman lahat ng Pinoys abroad are like that pero yung feeling na "you know may mas ibubuga ka pa" but then kapag maganda performance mo saka ka igo-gossip or gagawan ng issues ng mga Pinoy na katrabaho. That's why lumayo ako sa Filo group sa work ko and interacted with other race and learned a lot about their cultures and traditions. Mas naging masaya and makulay buhay ko abroad because of my friends from other countries.❤

You’re lucky you have filo friends I don’t have any because of the same exact thing you mentioned, they all hate my guts only because I work and my husband is a lot younger than me. Makes me feel sad why do some filos feel the need to drown others and not celebrate their achievements. I don’t brag about anything and I don’t speak to anyone kinda lonely but I have peace

I like victorian weather. The summer is not extremely hot, maybe few days only for the whole summer season.

It’s not easy to be a single mum but life is still better to be a single in australia than any other countries that includes Philippines.

Tbh, I was a fan of this channel before. Nagsubscribe pa nga ako e, pero watching this interview made me unsubscribe. Hindi na sya nakaka-inspire to be honest. Unti unti kasi nawawala un "Pusong Pinoy" sa contents ni Zac. eh obvious naman na for Pinoys tong channel na to,. Unlike other content creators/vlogger(i.e. BizdakOz and Aboradero) ramdam mo pa rin ung pagka Pinoy nila kahit sobrag tagal na nila sa Australia.

Sad to see you unsubscibe. The the aim of this channel is to feature raw and unfiltered different stories of Filipinos living outside (even inside) of our home country the Philippines. Our goal is not exclusive to promoting "Pusong Pinoy" but to explore different experiences, journey, mindset and lifestyle of Filipinos all over the world. We trust you will find other channels that meets your expectations. Salamat po.
