Dear Gamer, there's a trick to waking up monsters if you have Tempered Spirit Blade as a switch skill. You can level up to Red Gauge without waking the monster if you use timed Barrel Bombs (regular, not large). The tempered spirit blade activates off the explosion, though it can be hard-ish to time. This would allow you to wake monsters with Sacred Sheathe Combo.
I was running half the fight, buffing and healing. The guy hits like a truck, that dive thunder headbutt had me suffering axiety attacks. Litrally had to put the game down an load up digimon survive to slow the pace down
Fun fact: the boulder throw move actually belonged to regular Rajang in the games before Monster Hunter World. World introduced him and removed the move. I’m happy they brought it back.. Good show Capcom.. Edit: correction this specific rock throw is limited to APEX Rajang. EDIT EDIT: tbh who cares as long as the mf throws half of elgado at you who cares which Rajang did it
This specific version of the boulder throw is limited to 4U Apex Rajang. Normal rajang in 4th gen did a different rock throw where he randomly stops the fight and goes to a specific corner of the area to pick up the rock

Man i love Furious Rajang in this game, from his throwing a piece of the arena to his double psycho crusher. I prefer him over regular Rajang, he is so insane and fun to fight.

it did not belong to a regular rajang, not any "normal" one atleast, only APEX rajang from MH4U specifically had it.
