I found a one star review
"Not about Clocks or worms"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
i hate clickbait titles 😆
This is, unfortunately, unlikely as there are no 1 star reviews only 2 1 star ratings as of me writing this

Cute how most of her excitement just came from unexpectedly seeing her friend
I thought the exact same thing, she loves being around him and he really cares enough for his friends to do stuff like this for them. Really cool to see
Hey I'd be hyped up to see a friend like Max Fosh
Maybe it came from seeing the camera, and realizing that she was going to be in one of Max's videos
Ngl once I noticed there was a camera man already behind charlie I was like damnit it’s not totally real but ehh close enough
@@monhi64 That "Camera Man" was the friend who told her that they would go on a walk and she seems to start filming when she already noticed max
This is just a really elaborate way for Max to tell us he has lots of friends

A user on Amazon bought the book and this is what she said: "I don't see the point of this book but it was OK to read not much to red tho it passed 5 mins". She gave 3 stars.
I wonder if max just gave it the cheapest price possible. Idk how Amazon even breaks even at 2.77 although that’s in pounds probably so a bit more than I was thinking
@@monhi64 still only 3.50$ or 3.26€
I like the verified purchase that says "I couldn't stop reading. One of the life-changing books that expand your mind and shakes your thinking. Let Jesus be my witness." and then gave it two stars
@@monhi64 it's an e-book for .77£ so there's next to 0 cost for publishing it since it's probably all automated.

Yeah, turns out manipulating reviews and ratings in amazon is extremely easy.
first of all, *R U D E*
secondly, yeah that's true
but not this
Why you gotta do Clock Worm like that? Seriously. You need to get off your high horse and read this magnificent poetry.
The nerve of some people. Judging a dish towel by its cover.
right 🤣

Sometimes I think about how every single book I've seen is a New York Times Bestseller
tbf, the non best sellers wouldnt be getting sold or talked about lol
It works because of the same reason that this works on amazon, there are pretty niche lists and there aren't that many (legit) books that come out every week (especially not from major publishing houses, especially not all within the same category) and because a lot of people buy books when they've just come out, for that week or two, that book will obviously be bought a lot compared to other books (especially since pre-orders are counted added to first-day sales) and it'll end up somewhere on one of the NYT bestseller list. What you'll want to look at is the top few spots and how long a book has been at that spot (or on the list at all)
@The Lonely Proto Ah if you have time send me the link to that, it sounds like a laugh!
@@user-es7ui5mc1m That does explain it, thank you
Alternative title “English student wonders if worm is a noun”
how does this man come up with ideas like this honestly
Max, thanks for this and so many other wonderful videos. I decided to buy this book because it’s delightfully eccentric, and it also kicked my Amazon order over $25 so I got free shipping on my other item 😂. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to reading this monumental literary work.
I love how the only 1 star review I could find for this book said: "I didn't learn anything about worms or clocks".
This is how I feel when I spend hours on my art and my aunt comes in and asks me if I'm good with paint, because she needs a wall to be whitened.
This is like the best gift anyone could ever give a childhood friend. It's hilarious and sweet af
Man that was the most wholesome reaction of a friend seeing another friend i have seen in a long time
It's really easy to get a bestseller. Has it ever occurred to anyone that there were way too many "Bestsellers" at the same time in a bookstore?
A best seller isn't a representation of how good the book is. Plenty of popular books are not actually best sellers. To get on a list you have to sell X amount in X time. So what some authors do is just buy out that many of their own books to make it a best seller (and then donate/sell them again)
i didn’t know you could publish books on amazon just like that, what a cool idea 😁😁
Well I am now 77p poorer and I don’t even have a kindle
We need a sequel but instead of whatsapp messages it’s funny quotes from streetsmart
That was sweet how excited they were to see you, very excited.
Keep in touch with people, even ones that you think probably forgot you. The couple who ran your airbnb remembers you, your doctor/4th grade teacher does, so definitely your old friends do. *everyone, imagine how more excited people could be to see regularly, or in a text chat. AND in person (or online, its okay), in person is so much fun, especially when you feel easy and not anxious or at least are just as anxious as they are.*
Maybe visit your old teachers when you visit your parents next. IDK if I'd do that, not seeing people is also easy and fun. But its like taking a shower, remember, its an extremely enjoyable thing (when they fit with your energy level) but we feel a wierd dread for happy things. Sometimes the anxiety stays, doesnt mean you don't like them, and you can always explain that to someone. Say its not personal, just that you have social anxiety, and not that they make you feel uncomfortable, but you like talking online. Then just go out of your way to do coffee dates anyway, it feels fantastic to be invited even if you don't have time.
And sometimes people remember they're busy - no, they're not flaking, I could've had that anxiety but I knew people do just get busy too. If they didn't like you, they wouldn't be talking to you. And maybe you initiate the conversations (I'm the initiator), that doesn't mean you're being annoying, just that they have a more passive energy, or adapted to your initiator energy. Stop being dumb, people like you, for one you care about how they're feeling, so that's one thing.
And what if someone doesnt? Well, that's as rare as really liking someone, to dislike them - but you can have more chemistry with peopel than you expect. Just talk to someone. *And invite people to things!* (I did it once with a friend-acquintance and it was fun, and there wasn't an expectation to do it again. But you don't have to. You can lie in bed for an hour, then get up and invite your friend to coffee. Feeling like you HAVE to go out might make you dread it and stay in. Remembering you dont HAVE to do anything, but are doing it anyway, makes it easier to step outside your comfort zone.
*This isn't a universal mental health help, this is just what makes sense to me, and my understanding both of me and what I think might help a more socially anxious person. Do NOT feel bad if anything I say gives you dread, everybody's got their bubble, its fun to pop it sometimes but your not BAD if you choose to float around in it. It's like were on the beach, and I'm in the water, and it's warm, and I say you should come in. But you can't get up from the hot sand. You can come in whenever you want, or not at all, no pressure. But you might want to - the water's great)
*Edit: Went on a mental-health tangent, hmm.*
Whenever I'm feeling down I'm coming back to this video. I need such friends in my life.

Every video you make is like a mixed bag. I never know what to expect but I'm always oddly satisfied and surprised at the end.
In his next video, Max will be telling us how he's being sued for using a tea towel company's copyrighted pattern for a book cover.
They should be paying him for promoting their design.

You and the guy that faked his way to the top of fashion week are gold.
Am I the queen of balance and aesthetics? Yes. Yes, I am. And this is not just a proclamation of self-importance, but a realization that has been a long time coming.
It started when I was just a little girl, rearranging the furniture in my bedroom to make it more pleasing to the eye. As I grew older, my love for aesthetics and design only deepened. I found myself drawn to the art of Feng Shui and the concept of creating harmony in one's surroundings.
But it wasn't until I became an adult that I truly embraced my passion for aesthetics and realized that it was more than just a hobby or a personal preference. It was a calling.
As I began to study interior design and delve deeper into the principles of balance and harmony, I discovered that this was my true purpose in life. I was meant to bring beauty and harmony to the world through my designs and creations.
And so, I set out on a journey to become the best version of myself, to hone my skills and perfect my craft. I studied under the greats, traveled the world, and immersed myself in the cultures and traditions that inspired me.
Years went by, and I created countless masterpieces, each one a reflection of my passion and dedication to the art of design. People began to take notice, and I quickly became known as the queen of balance and aesthetics.
But it wasn't just my talent that set me apart. It was my understanding that design is not just about making things pretty. It's about creating an environment that inspires, soothes, and energizes the people who inhabit it.
And so, I made it my mission to design spaces that not only looked beautiful but also felt beautiful. Spaces that reflected the unique personalities and lifestyles of the people who lived in them.
As I sit here today, reflecting on my journey, I am filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. I am the queen of balance and aesthetics, not just because of my talent but because of my commitment to creating spaces that enrich people's lives.
And as I continue on this journey, I am excited to see where it will take me next. For there is always more to learn, more to create, and more to inspire.

I would have watched Max read poetry from the book whilst in a park for another hour in all honesty.
In the first video I saw of this channel, I think the one where he buys a roundabout, someone pointed out his tea towel looked like the cover of a poetry book. Now he has done a poetry book with his tea towel as the cover. Marvellous.
