7:39 It's a strange interaction but Micah wouldn't have Domain here. While there is a Humility on board, Magus's land altering ability occurs on layer 4, while Humility occurs on layer 6, so Magus'a bility is effectively still in effect, turning all non-basic lands into mountains. This interaction would also impact the game for a while after.
This confusing interaction is what made me quit viewing this game
Tokens that are copies of cards have the CMC of the card they're copying, not zero; wouldn't your Muldrifter and Wavesifter survive?
This is a relatively new ruling I believe but yes you're correct. Copy tokens of cards now maintain their *ahem* mana value.
@@derekgunnels4856 They've always kept their mana values unless the effect that created them said otherwise, like in Embalm and Eternalize.
Just so Micah is aware path of ancestry is just a 5c tapped land in the shrines deck it won't provide any scry. Shine is an enchantment type not a creature type. The shrines do not have a creature type and therefore will never trigger the scry from path.

Loved the game, especially because Brenard was there. Heads up Magus of the moon would have prevented the cracking of the marsh flats not that it massively affected the game.

@bradsworth13 is right in this case because of LAYERS. It's a super complicated, but basically when there are multiple continuous effects on a battlefield there's a list of Layers which dictate which one applies first, starting at 1 and going down to 7. Magus of the Moon is at Layer 4 whereas Humility is on Layer 6, so the Magus' ability is applied even though Humility removes that ability on a lower layer.
So from 07:29 until 08:29 all nonbasic lands were Mountains, even though Magus of the Moon was a 1/1 with no abilities. All because of Layers.

How does one skip combat before the draw step?
Great game, I believe magus of the moon works through humility due to when their abilities are applied layers wise. Luckily this didn't really affect the game

Grist's first ability should have made Corwin mill at least one card per activation.
Also, 8:19 shouldn't be able to crack that fetch because of Magus of the Moon

Wrath of god should kill ojer taq and it becomes a land but you should still ahve a copy from brenard
Brenard says to exile the card after dying. If that happens, Ojer can't return to the battlefield since it's exiled. You have to choose not to exile so it comes back as a land.
The act of creating the token is tied to exiling the card after it dies. If he does that, he can't bring Ojer Taq back as a land.
