The sound of triples mixed with motley crue Kickstart my heart is such a perfect mix! This was such a great video! Now I'm headed out to go find a triple to buy!
Would love an Old Iron specific tips and tricks video on mountain riding, and maybe comparing how the techniques and styles have evolved over the years with the newer sleds!
I love it, been thinking about buying a sled after 15 years or so. I just can't stop thinking about the old triples... XCR800 and Thundercat 1000 are on my short list. You are my favorite rider other than Jay Quinlan. Merry Christmas from Canada.
Dude I got a mint PSI 1800 triple genesis custom but I don't even ride it cause it's too nice ,1800 cylinder reed big air carbs RMI gear drive van amberg tunnel Thundercat bulkhead boss seat biggest avid drivers you'll ever see custom pipes its my dream sled someone else built. If the guy I got it off was honest it's been to the mountains 5 or 6 times and was in thunderstruck 4 I'd like bring it out to a vintage ride like this. It's circa2005
@@coldsmoker9387 cool, my dream sled is a wedge indy with a ported xcr800 engine, the only thing stopping me from building it is the pipes have to be custom made and it isn't cheap. I would buy a brand new 20K sled if they still made triple 2 strokes. They could probably squeeze 250hp out of a modern triple.
that old tx is a beast!!! i love the old iron.....im building a triple mod right now. 144 track 600 case reed out of a 97 xcr with triple pipes and a dg can all stuffed in to a 97 xlt body. cant wait to ride it
Mountain max 700 triple is one of the best sleds ever made! Of course I had every mod possible on mine! I’m now rocking an 800 Axys 162 but I still miss my old MM
I used to take my 03 viper short track thru the boons like this, thing would never get stuck! I miss 'er deeply.. happy holidays guys 👊 just subbed! cheers from Alaska
We rode mountain maxes all through middle and high school. Best machine from that era by far. We would cut cans open and take all the packing out 😂😂😂 talk about greasy
We rode em in high school too, except I was building cans for em out of cherry bomb (glass pack), would bend some pipe and put a donut flare on, weld some tangs for the springs. Then i got real legit and used thrush welded mufflers and they looked like some of the cans you buy today lol I'm sure they lost hp but they sounded good and for 40 bucks I could make someome a can 🤣
My uncle had 3 different Indy's and a 700 summit and a 660 arctic cat. He usually rode the 700 and one day he rode the old 89 trail and he said he had more fun on that than the 700 just because of the weight difference 🤣 he was seriously thinking about putting a little money into making it better but never did and went and bought a rmk 🤣
How can I blame my shitty riding skills on outdated equipment when you guys rip them like they are sleds from the future! ...Seriously cool and perfect song choice

I remember the days of kickstarting my triple.
That sound brings back many fond memories! Awesome to see crazy good modern riders loving on the old gals. Braaaap!!! Hell ya guys

That was soo cool more videos with old but gold snowmobiles🤘🤘
I appreciate the upload! Not a lot of new content on RUclips anymore with older mod sleds so it’s super awesome to see! Big thumbs up
Love these old iron videos. Need more in the future.
Always a great day with old iron
Sometimes it’s nice to go back in time and ride the sleds that we grew up on just to further appreciate how far of the industry has come.
...and yet how much the 'fun' hasn't changed much.
I would pay good money if I could find a Yamaha MM in Sweden in decent condition!
So much triple noise in one video. Best sounding sled era. Long love old triples
Baddest ever you could do this every day, three words Rocky Mountain King
Just like the old days…….. Slednecks forever!!!
Man I miss those old 90's full mod hillclimbers no belly pan stripped down straight piped tripples, they where way ahead of the industry for decades.
Nice. There’s some Crazy Canadian vibes with that Mountain Max.
Now that brings back some memories! Well done boys!
Zrt800 to play with myself, got to love the sound and power of a triple
Love the old sleds.keep it up

Kyle rocking the sweet coat and leaf-spring front suspension sled is the man!!! 👍👍👍
Awesome =) The '98 700 RMK in the intro was a teaser, though, would have loved to see that one out there!
I wanna ride with yall so bad haha. A lot of times you'll have more fun on an old iron than a new one.

That sled that Kyle is on makes me want to a 600 XLT engine in my old 78 Yamaha Enticer 440 fan that’s blown up and make it a long track
That was the best video on RUclips
Best video ever, nice work
Now ur in my world here Chrissy - love CTori
I used to take my 03 viper short track thru the boons like this, thing would never get stuck! I miss 'er deeply.. happy holidays guys 👊

Best video yet!
I might have more fun on a day like this than riding my new sled.
I'd love to see build details on these old hot rods especially Kyle's leaf spring shredder ! Sick

Yamaha ftw
I wanna get my turbo’d 97 Indy out there if you do this again it’d be a riot
Love it.
U should put a boost motor and turbo under the hood of a vintage sled that would be sweet
Love it!! 🤘
How can I blame my shitty riding skills on outdated equipment when you guys rip them like they are sleds from the future! ...Seriously cool and perfect song choice
Love this vid
You cant beat the sound of a Yamaha 700
Kyle ripping without the hood
he's good at that
@@ChrisBurandt LOL
Love it

Just me or is that 760 trip leaf springer the most capable of the group? Things a weapon.
