Summit definitely the better sled for the era and I'm a Polaris guy. Vmax sounds great but heavy. Those sleds were 2nd gen pioneers in mtn riding. Probably make you boys better riders.. 😅 Save them for water skipping this summer!
The sound of that Yamaha triple brings back so many memories. They have such a distinct sound and it's badass. Never had one myself but two of the friends I rode with had them and I would jump on when every once in awhile and man where they fast. It's absolutely insane to see how far technology has come with these machines and probably why you can buy a car for cheaper
When I was a kid my dad replaced his SRX 700 Triple (The shorter track version of mountain max) With an RX1 and gave me the SRX 700 triple to ride with him on trips. What an absolute legend of a machine. You can see even this many years down the line that thing is still a beauty. They were missiles back in early 2000's compared to other stuff. I miss that sled.
Those old rippers will be great Water skippers come the summer months!! That MXZ-Summit was deff the #1 pick of the three! Would be dope to take that triple out of the yammy and transplant it into something like Kens golf cart! Talk about an interesting vehicle to get content outta old ken! Or slap it into one of the GoKarts 😈😈
First sled was a 2000 Summit 700. Bought it in 2002. Took me so many places. Rode with buddies on both the RMK and Mountain Max. Upgraded to a 2007 Summit 800, a 2014 800 and a 2018 850. Next week be a 2023 850 turbo. The lines I used to want to be able to ride are now easily achievable. I break the sled and myself way more easily now.
Hey CboysTV!! I have watched this video twice now and it just gets better and better. I've been watching you guys for about a year now, and it's awesome to see some fellow Minnesotans! You guys are awesome!! Thanks for keeping us entertained!!!
After ripping some fast sleds for years and current owner of an old P.O.S. I realized that its not so much outright speed that gives you the rush but going as fast as you can on what you've got that makes it fun. Also: I would kill to own that MM - I love those red-head yammys
Absolutely. The most fun I’ve ever had on the water wasn’t on a 300hp sea doo (they are pretty fun though) it was a Yamaha from the late 80s that hardly went 40mph.
For big mountain riding, it’s hard to beat a new modern sled, but the old sleds for leisure trails and smaller hillclimbs, the older sleds are tough to beat.
The factory triple pipes on the yamaha 700's sound amazing. I've got one with a converging pipe into a muffler, doesn't sound quite as good. Still rips 24 years later though.
😊 💪 👍 👌. It is always fun and intresting to look on videos like this there you go out and have fun whith a little older snowmobiles and go wild and crazy and get a flashback how it was back then and compares whith newer ones. Greetings from Sweden. /Patrik
Man it just looks like so much fun to be part of a group like this, one day I’ll be able to do shit like this but with my jewelry business and then all this work now will be worth it, I’m at 168 subs now but in 5 years who knows what could happen. I’m sure theses guys never knew what they were getting themselves into 😂
There is nothing better then coming home from school on a hot Australian day and finding a new cboys video on you’re recommended, love the content guys keep it up
You guys are awesome, I would love to get that kind of snow in Michigan. From what I hear the summit and the mxz were great sleds in the 2000s. Keep up the content boys!
I had that exact sled it was a 03 summit 151 but I had slp power dome heads and pipe and all aluminum bogey wheels and extra cooler in the nose and a boss seat! It was a great sled and I loved it but now I like my 13 etec lol
LOVE THE VIDS BOYS. you guys were the ones that really got me into dirtbiking and practicing all the time. I even bought some new graphics becuase of yall. Thanks for the content and keep it up! 💯
All those old sleds were the latest and greatest at one point. They still get the job done, as was apparent in the video. A bad day sledding is still better than a good day at work.
6:51 What RPM is that supposed to run at? Yammy 700 triple: All of them! Best sounding sled on the hill. I've got two of them and their biggest drawback is weight, they are absolute tanks to ride.
Thanks for watching guys!
You’re welcome
Can I go snowmobiling with you?
I’ve never been on a snowmobile
KEEP THE YAMAHA TRIPLE, ITS THE PERFECT GUEST MACHINE OR BACKUP, IT JUST FITS YOUR CHANNEL, PLUS IT SOUNDS GOOD
Loved this video
I love your videos!! Like I actually wait every day to see if you upload!! Thanks for everything guys

There’s not a vmax in the video
I see a mountain max
They are all the same weight... the mountain max has less power if it has stock pipe on.
Mountain max is a dream screamer. Grew up on 90s/2000s vmaxs absolutely loved the sound of them.
@@OGKook Still have a 2000 Vmax. Great lake runner.
That mountain max might be one of the best sounding sleds ever
Yea those old yami 2 strokes sound amazing...... but I feel like that MM is down on power
Yeah I have one with aftermarket pipes and a different clutch and it rips
Had a 600 once and when everyone wood loose me they'd just shut off and listen for that triple to sing..........................
It sounds like my dads wood planer
@@Cor_bandz thats on sexy sounding planer then
Lovin the snow content 🔥🔥

You can get it from me

all the triples sounded great, I wish they still made them.
My dad ripped a srx. Incredible sled!
I had a 97 Yamaha arc red headed triple with a can, sounded awesome!
Man, those triples sound wicked. Such a unique sound no matter if they're a motorcycle or a snowmobile.

You just always would have that put put fucking mode with the damn warm up light. Riding roads on those RXs flat out was something I’ll never forgot.
Another absolute banger of a video! Keep up the great work! You guys are killing it rn!!!

Love this!👌🏼that sound on 06:00 min was like screaming up the hill 💪🏼😂
man ive never went snowmobiling before but have been on dirtbikes my whole life. this looks so damn cool.
Get the snow kit for the dirt bike they have videos about them also
Same here,Quads and Dirt Bikes never a Snowmobile....
@@nicke1903 i feel you man, it’s too expensive to do both
@@bigguy154 especially when a new snowmobile costs the same as a brand new car lol
Rode bikes, buggy’s and love sleds. Part jet ski and part dirt bike. Playing in the cold makes winter go bye
loved how simple this one was boys really enjoyed it
Day 12 video 1 of binging every Cboys video.
Coming from a place that gets 1” of snow every other year. I’m jealous

You spring check the 2023? They are hard to get where I’m at in Michigan? I think I’m stuck waiting till the 2024 model.
just road a matryx 850 155 for a few days in WY, and that thing takes a day to get used to the snap pure POWer in the powder
how many $$ the 2023 850 turbo ?
Love when they go and do the most random shit and making it cool.
Great to see a bunch buddies out having fun like this Great Vid

Bro the mountain max🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I hope I'm not the only one that thought of WhistlinDiesel at 2:10 and 3:13 with that John Deere skid loader in the back.. 😂
The Yamaha sounds AMAZING!!!
It's weird seeing Ryan wearing a different snow suit other than the same one he's been wearing for years
Love it boys! What a great day 🤘🏼🦅

That first fire Jump was crazy 🔥🔥
The height on those jumps was stunning! I'm amazed they can land and not explode
I thought the last vid was good.... This one is great!
When you guys get older you might wish you didn't kill that Yami triple.
Sales in old sleds just increased ! 😂🔥
Love the videos boys keep them up always a good day when the Cboys upload
Had an 03 viper 700 triple. Hard to beat that sound!! Lots of torque but definitely heavy. Miss that sled. Nice seeing one again
The factory triple pipes on the yamaha 700's sound amazing. I've got one with a converging pipe into a muffler, doesn't sound quite as good. Still rips 24 years later though.
mountain max has the red top triple so its single pipe from the factory and no exhaust valves you're probably thinking of the srx.
:)
My old man a a 99 600 triple with triple pipes and triple exits from Pat Hauck and it sounded AMAZING!!!!!

Mountain Max wins for sound, Summit wins for jumping. Awesome video.
