Last time I shopped at Walmart in Albuquerque (just a few weeks ago), I think they only had one checkout lane open, the rest were self checkout. So glad I moved out of ABQ.

Since the one girl did not remove anything from the store, she could be released with an ROR. The other one did in fact leave the store with the cart, she should not have been released at all. If they do not show up for any and all court dates they will sit in a jail cell until their final court date.
I think women between the ages of 18 and 35 should only be allowed to wear their bras and panties when out in public, and I think at least 40% of their time should be spent tickling and rubbing up against each other, which would reduce the amount of time they would have to spend shop lifting.
It's because jails are over crowded and you can't hold everyone... maybe if the right wasn't so hell bent on taking away a woman's right to choose (over population), cutting funding for early education and higher learning, and locking everyone up for any and all this big or small then someone like this might not be ROR. I went to Home Depot years ago with a guy I did home improvements with. When we got back to my truck, he started pulling out stuff he'd stolen. I was pissed as f*ck. We walked in together, and we left together. If he'd gotten caught, they would have charged me too. I've seen that happen before. I would never go in a store with him again after that.

Yes lol While I was working one day a guy ran out with over $300 merch in a duffle bag. Multiple cologne, shoes, shirts, caps etc. An off duty officer happened to see it and he tackled him out in the parking lot (accomplice got away) and he was promptly arrested. I was so happy that day 😋🥰

Was at the Harbor Freight store in Las Vegas NM couple of weeks ago. I watched a guy wearing a jacket, (it was 90⁰ out) fill his pockets with tools. I mentioned it to the clerk who said, yeah we know we've been watching him. I was told they are not allowed to confront shoplifters or they will be fired. HF is concerned about personal injury lawsuits by suspects and employees being injured. And since NM liberal courts do nothing to these POS, it's more cost-effective to let them go!

I was a sheriff deputy in La Plata County, Durango Colorado and our local Walmart loses $1.25 million a year in theft. They have a loss prevention undercover shopper however this is somewhat a small community and a lot of the regulars know who he is. So there’s that.

I just looked at a young man, He started running for the exit. Various CD started spilling out of his waistband as he ran out the exit. Another, A woman with toddler entered the grociery area she went to the grapes bin and handed the child a bunch of brapes, she took a dozen bananas, they ate as she shopped, throwing the waste into the gondolas before checking out. A man took a frozen Shrimp package out of the freezer, and ate them as he shopped.

Funniest things that happened to observe. Wal*Mart had a rule (to protect employees) Not to chase shoplifters, Leave it to "Loss Prevention". I just looked at a young man, He started running for the exit. Various CD started spilling out of his waistband as he ran out the exit. Another, A woman with toddler entered the grociery area she went to the grapes bin and handed the child a bunch of brapes, she took a dozen bananas, they ate as she shopped, throwing the waste into the gondolas before checking out. A man took a frozen Shrimp package out of the freezer, and ate them as he shopped.
