Got it in a store for 10$
Came back to look at this figure just to compare the matrix to the mpm one. Idk why they couldn't have made it like this without making 2 gigantic holes in it, it really ruins the look of the diecast matrix for me.

I hope it so much that hasbro/takara would use this mold for the Studio Series line.
Awesome with improvements but i'm would totaly fine with realistic paint like the mpm-04 prime.
There is a little chance because they did the same thing with die SS-36 Drift repaint from TLK Drift.
Maybe he is Studio Series number 100+ xD

I love this guy. He was my first Optimus, I bought him from a comic-con, my first ever purchase at one, and I still have him. Very fun to transform.^^

Back in 2014, Takara Tomy has a redeco if the HFTD Battle Blades Optimus Prime. He is Movie Advanced AD12 Revenge Optimus Prime.and his colors are more movie accurate

Transforms like the leader class Optimus prime
One of my favourites from the movie line! The Matrix is one of my favourite features but it is easily lost, the mud flaps don’t stay on his back that often, and the Battle Blades are great but get bent. The extra guns are cool as well and are a good addition.

I remember when this first came out, I thought it looked to complicated, now that im older I regret thinking that, but i found one for like 50$, so that's good
Yeah at first it’s a bit baffling but when you get the hang of him it’s easy
Back then, didn't like it but when move advance came out I wanted it even more but sadly never restocked =(
Oh uh I recently came across a stranger at a toy store and she said there kids can't even figure out the new RID warrior toys. XD lol that's proof kids at there young age. prematurely play with technology way to much. Causes them become dumber and long term laziness. Sad world we live in.

Would it be possible that the movie designs were too complex with a lot of "cheating" during transformation and that reflected on the toys somewhat forcing engineers to use more complicate transformations?
Det. Bullock It definitely seems as though they put zero thought in what the toys would be when they designed the movie characters.
