You know I’ve grown sick of influencers “content creators” since life has returned to normal post Covid. I never cared about the materialistic things that people show, for me it’s seeing everyday life. I’d imagine it’s harder to be a content creator at the present time with so many uttering that same sentiment. I’d happily stop watching any of the others and keep your channel only.
You Josie are the exception. You add a lot of variety, keep it real, don’t put on any faux-pas, your content seems very organic and enjoyable. It always relaxes me. Thank you for staying true to yourself Josie.

Without wishing to spoil our vlog enjoyment, it also feels a little immoral when some people are really struggling to pay heating and food bills...
I do exactly the same with my bedding. Pull the duvet right back leave for 1 hr and then make the bed. I was told this helps the bed to cool and sunlight will kill any bedbugs. I do also vacuum the matress everyday to pick up any dead skin cells.
I love everything you ordered with exception to the Hermes cardigan. It is very granny looking. I am much older and would never wear that style. For the cost, I know that you could find many others to enjoy. 🥰 And, I too, am definitely a bed maker. Nothing looks sloppier than an unmade bed!😱 Have a lovely day!🥰🥂🥰

I'd definitely add cardigan like that to your wardrobe but from a different brand. You can still get high quality, sustainabilty and a sense of luxury for a much lower price then spend the money on something with more of an impact. I've abandoned the idea of summer coming back and have started thinking about jackets and coats. 😅😅

I feel the same but about the fact that you’d spend that much and not even wait for the correct size… and… only to scuff them up to make them more grippy 😢 There’s no hate, and these lovely luxury hauls are a form of escapism for me, but this I found a *little* jarring 🩵
I'm very hard on shoes. Even my most beloved that I think I'm taking good care of I seem to scuff, and find something I did to them the next time I go to wear them, even though I think I'm checking them over. It's a sad sad predicament for people who have instep issues, etc. Plus! When you have tiny feet like Josie and I, and I can't speak for her, but people seem to always walk on my stupid feet! What the heck is that about!
@@stelladaube8437 completely agree, scuff expensive sandals to make them work and you don't know if you spent £2000 pounds or £1000 on a cardigan?? I normally enjoy these vlogs but when Josie gets a bit blasé about such expensive purchases its a real turn off, just because you can afford it doesn't make it a smart decision.
Actually, the Oran sandal is less than 600 pounds.

The reason you don’t see people unbox online orders is because most Hermes lovers don’t place online orders! The reason is because online orders don’t really count towards the “spend requirements” to qualify for a quota bag. Hi Josie! Fellow bumblebee lover here, and whenever I find a tired bumblebee I mix up a little sugar water on a spoon and leave it next to the bee. I read this somewhere, and it helps give them enough energy to get back to the hive because otherwise they may not make it. Now I do it every time and they always drink up and fly away a few minutes later! Love your vlogs by the way ☺
A little honey and water on a plate is good food for them too

My Nan who had the most beautiful roses, taught me that if you hold the rose hip/ dead rose head between your fingers and snap it, the dead rose head should come of in one clean break. Just comes in handy when you’re out with no shears 👩🌾🌹 Happy gardening x

I think I made the same comment a while back. Everything she wears looks loose, long and ill-fitting IMO. Seems things are bought for the name rather than how well they actually complement her great figure.

As someone who struggles to find a good pair of brown or black flats/sandals, I understand feeling a sense of brand loyalty when you find a pair you love & know you will wear over and over again. And that first green linen Net-A-Porter dress was divine on you! An absolute yes!

Dear Josie, it's lovely vlog as always and really brings you into my rainy day. As for the green linen dress from Net-a-Porter maybe try to close the neckline with some ladder stitches first. It's a way easier quick fix then adjusting the shoulder seam and it shouldn't affect the waistline as much. If that doesn't help or you don't like it you still could tackle the shoulder seam. 🙂
Hi Josie, airing your bed is something people always did in the past, along with daily turning the mattress (today they often are manufactured to even not be turned.)
The idea of airing your bed is to cool down the sheets/mattress/duvet and air, so microbes don’t grow.
Turning the mattress (over and then 90 degrees the next day) is to stop it sagging in the same place.

Josie I've been in a little low stage of my life recently and just bed ridden and struggling with a chronic illness but you've really really helped me get excited to try make a garden to keep myself busy. Not been wearing make up or anything as it's winter in new zealand and all cold but now I'm looking at lovely flowy dresses and all the clothes you've shown I'm obsessed. Especially zimmermann and your jewelery. I love love love the videos with you and freddy. I found you from her channel. Now I check your mumblr blog a lot and watch all your videos. I’ve ALWAYS worn the oasis Hermes sandal instead of the Oran since I was a teen I think! They’re so much more comfortable and versatile! You’ve love them!
I have that Hermès cardigan in navy blue, and I get so much wear out of it in all seasons. It is my most used Hermès piece.

Hi Josie a good recipe I do to use up abundance of veg is veg Pattie’s - grate carrot, zucchini and corn and mix with a egg and a bit of flour with herbs and spices (paprika yum) and grill on frypan - serve goats cheese or yogurt/chilli or chutney. Yum yum yum

I am also an air out the bed/make it in the morning person.😊I agree with cost per wear; if you love it and wear it then by all means.❤ And often it helps if I let go of lesser worn items to bring that newer piece that I love more into my wardrobe.

I am definitely a bed maker. I used to never make my bed until I met my husband, who makes the bed every day, and now has me doing it as well. It is strangely satisfying, I enjoy having a small/manageable accomplishment first thing in the morning, and I love laying down in a freshly made bed at the end of each day.

The 1st and especially the 2nd Fred’s dress💯. The oatmeal mock neck sweater dress is a beautiful color on you, but the hemline hangs weird. I have used the ground pistachio inspo on so many things! I love pistachios but never thought to grind them. Fabulous!!!

Yes it was always a thing to air the beds while hubby and kids got breakfast before going wherever and then remaking them later. I love Dahlias. Have you seen Waterlily dahlias? They are gorgeous!

Josie, bought the Hermes belt at a store on Boston, MA and like you, my waist is very tiny, so the SA had to put three holes in it before it fit properly, but it was an investment so I wanted it to fit great!

Wow the pistachio cake looked incredible. I love the puffa jacket, beautiful colour. I love the olive green linen dress but it looked too big for you around the waist at the back as the elastic part was all scrunched up. Love the green sunglasses, but a definite no to the Hermes cardigan , not just the price but the fit of it too. The pink swimsuit is just beautiful 🌸 love all your vlogs

My experiences with Hermes have all been positive. They are a lovely company to deal with, helpful staff and the quality of their items excellent. Josie, you should start collecting their scarves, their designs are always a notch above all other brands and beautiful silk ties for men. I know you are looking at a high price point but these are investment pieces, with care, you will have that cardigan for life and that, plus the design, is what you are paying for.
