If it didn't work try un installing and installing the app through the web not store or I know it's weird but check your time and date if it's upto date

You also need to add the following to enable downloads:
C:\Users\username}\AppData\Local\EpicGamesLauncher\Saved\Config\Windows\Engine.ini
Then the same [Launcher] option.

Guys contact your WiFi provider. My epic games was accidentally marked as a virus. I just called them and they fixed it in 5 minutes.
