It's Little Jimmy Reed (aka Leon Atkins), who filled in for Jimmy Reed years ago, and has been performing as Little (Lil') Jimmy Reed since that time....

So Kool! Found this song years ago on Blues Variety Album had called “ Best of the Blue”But this song runs through my mind a lot! It’s perfect! That’s Leon Atkins, aka Little Jimmy Reed. Back when dinosaurs walked the Earth Jimmy Reed was too out of his socks and Leon was present at the gig. He got on stage and performed all Reed’s songs. That’s how he got the nickname or stage name.

1:07 saw jimmy Sr. Many times lived in Houston 50 and60s.wewent to jail together one night me for drinking underage him smoking weed .listen close to J Sr hear wife saying words in back of him . His harp is copied today,he and Lightning Hopkins were the founders of back home blues music . Mickey B
