I am so glad that I have found your RUclips channel.... I started flying with RC helicopters in 2004 (almost 20 years 🙂)and remember your early videos, especially "at the lake"... that one was simply stunning. Curtiss Youngblod, Jason Krause and of course You were our Idols. Looking forward for new videos.
@alanszabojr Thank you for reply 🙂. I stopped flying few years ago-family, kids,... But will start again -have MA Tempest already from 2008. I also found that a lot of manufacturers are "gone", but good thing is that Align is still here with a LOT of models -did fly Trex-600 when it was introduced
Fabulous, I never tire of watching your flying, I’ll never get close but I can aspire. I now have the 470LM, 500X and 550X, which is awesome as you told me it would be in a previous post. I’m still a novice but steadily improving. I really enjoy building and flying these different models. Would you recommend the TB60 or TB70 as the next step?
Thank you. I think the TB70 would be the next one since you already have 6S 5000mah packs that the TB70 would use in 12S. The TB60 might be too similar in size to the 550X.
Do you also fly airplanes? If so do you ever get your controls mixed up? I fly a lot of rc planes and I have a chopper here or two but will never get to your level.
Yes I've been flying planes longer than helis. I've never had an issue with controls myself but I've seen a few people that get the throttle mixed up a bit when flying a plane inverted a few times.
I have a challenge for you😃 This requires a vertical surface😬 Perform the wall close to the vertical surface and plant the skids with enough negative pitch so the heli sticks to the wall. Than you can call it fly on the wall 😁 What do you think? Doable??🤔😎
Bonjour Alan merci encore pour cette démonstrations cela force le respect 👍👍
Thank you

Allen, how are you getting 2050rpm with 12s and 490kv. I have a 480kv motor with the 24t motor pulley and i can get 1850 max
You must have your ESC not calibrated correctly or your telemetry isn’t setup correct. I can easily get over 2300 if I wanted to.
Thanks for the reply. I will check those two things.

My friend Jason Krause has done this a few times quite a few years ago with a Trex 500 so yes 100% do able
