It's true they don't tell you much, it's very often the next day when you've got to scramble to get the kids ready to move...often to family they've never met...don't get me wrong...I think the kids would have greater access to their mom and dad if they're with a family member...but they should at least do visits with the kin first....
I agree they should at least do a kin visits first.. though they are “checked out” first. Not to stereotype the whole family but it is a big worry for me that the kids may go to the same or similar environment.
