The cube is the discrimination in this world. The camera lens shows them as perfect with no disabilities IU is supposed to be mute, and V is supposed to be blind in one eye and deaf. IU and V have done an amazing job. They're acting goes beyond words. This is a masterpiece she has the voice of an angel, and she looks like a goddess so beautiful V not too bad either. Thanks for the reaction. I've been waiting for you to react to IU for a long time. You really ought to give a reaction to live performance of Eight and My Sea. It’s a mini album dropping on 20th February called The Winning. She is having her 1st World Tour and probably her only one. 21st June at Wembley.
MAYBE Mini Album is similar to EP.
I know IU mainly from her dramas. I love her in "Hotel del Luna" and "My Mister" and "Dream". This MV is such a masterpiece, I love it so much. The song, her voice, the story, their acting, all phenomenal.
I am ARMY, so I know about her interaction with BTS members. Her collab with Suga on "eight" of course, and their recent one "People Pt. 2" from his latest album. And I love their bickering best-friends energy whenever they appear together, on "IU's Palette" and on "Suchwita".
IU and V doesn't just have great chemistry on this MV, they also sound beautiful together. They performed "Ending Scene" together on her show, and the combination of her clear angelic voice and his deep smooth baritone is heavenly.
When J-hope appeared on her show, they performed "Pierrot Laughs at Us" and "Equal Sign", also great performances.

The cube 'Nemo' represents the discrimination towards marginalized people (symbolized in IU being mute and Taehyung being blind in one eye).
They stayed together till the end with their love sustained, free from all oppression and pressure from society.

The camcorder serves as a filter and allows imagination to roam freely. Everything is imagination through the camcorder.
Reality resumes when you see their wounds and tattered clothes.
In the end, the two of them are seen ascending to a better place through the camcorder, while they are eradicated in reality.

The cubes are trolls/ media. In the MV, she is deaf/mute, he is partially blind - it may seem there is no fathomable way these two can understand each other. This video is dedicated to artists, great Korean idols. The cube represents the Korean music and film industry, where every artist is under threat of social pressure, where one wrong move can ruin their careers, where they can be intimidated by the media and end their lives, living under stress and constant fear. Through the lens of a video camera, artists, idols of many, are beautiful and happy, but in real life they are very vulnerable. The Industry sucks all the juice out of them and then throws them away as if they were old and unnecessary clothes. In South Korea, the big music lobbies have a way of treating artists that is scary. If they see that they are good and successful, they take everything and more out of each of them, becoming ruthless. But when they have been exploited to the point of exhaustion, they leave them aside like broken toys. More than one artist has ended up committing suicide. Everything is very sad. At its end the trolls/ media come to consume another artist and fandom and discard it like a pile of clothes and IU is ready to fight but V (the fans) steps in front of her to defend her and their bond, but they are met with a bitter end. A sad reality every artist must face someday. She sheilds V's good eye to protect him from the inevitable. .😭😭😭😭
Why are you going around cutting-and-pasting the same exaggerated stereotypes about "Korean music and film industry" (that originally came from racist western trolls/media, speaking of trolls/media)? Yes, there are cruel companies and sad cases. Do you know anything about the athletics and sports industries?? "More than one artist has committed suicide". LOL Do you know how many thousands of non-famous musicians who struggle in poverty and anonymity commit suicide each year in western countries?? At least the Kpop industry gives them the best training and support while paying them a salary. Do you fantasize that everyone who wants to be successful in art and culture gets to be rich and famous without hard work, sacrifice, and failure?? You're just going on some toxic narratives you heard. You're not an expert. You're not even Korean. Just stop.
