Once, when I was having an anxiety attack, my partner told me “you tend to think of things in black and white… like the only options you have are good or bad… but in reality there’s Good, Bad, and Neutral… So the chances of you getting something that’s good or neutral is 66% whereas something bad is only 33%…” Ever since they said that a lot of my anxiety has been wash away.
