We have both, the double rollers on the S1 Pro do a much better job cleaning walls and algae with catching it in the filter, especially if you have white plaster like we do.
Excellent comparison video. Very helpful thank you very much. I'm definitely going to go with the S1, but I really appreciate the time you took to help us understand the differences.
@@ModernDayReviews I purchased the scuba S1 which is lighter to take it in and out charging. I don’t need sideway waterlines cleaning, the S 1 pro has some good features but a little big & bulky and price is out of my budget. After watching your comparisons, S 1 is more feasible for my pool. Thanks bunches!
Hi Eric, is it recommended to be charged 'indoors'? Also, any idea if the charger is water resistant, if it is charging outside and then it starts to rain?
Thank you. I actually don't know what Aiper recommends for charging outside or in the rain but I have seen they recommend to make sure the charging port is dry before you plug it in. Especally if you forget to close the power port like I have a million times. The power adapter brick is pretty sealed once so Im not concern with that but you want to make sure that both ends are protected from getting wet. The end that goes into the robot seem pretty sealed once inserted so Im not conern with that either once inserted so I would make sure that your standard plug end is protected like in an outdoor electrail box protector to be on the safe side. But to honest, I've charge up all my outside in all weather during the spring and summer months and I haven't had an issues yet. I do bring them indoors for fall and winter.
