You said it comes up by itself and no need to use the hook, it doesn’t . How come yours does and mine doesn’t? You need anything extra for it to do that?
Here’s my thought. I have a Hayward pool cleaner. The cord acts as both a power line and a tether. From time to time the robot manages to flip itself upside down. I can use the cord to retrieve it or help it right itself. In this case with no cord I have to use another tool to fish it out or jump in to fetch it. Guys in tech always think to make things wireless without thinking if the cord serves a secondary function
Love mine. It worked perfectly from day one and I didn’t even even read the instructions. I’m glad I watched this video to discover how much more stuff it will do.
Got one. Does clean 60 percent of the floor. Goes over and over the same spots It didn’t pick up stuff when it went over it. But still missed lots of floor keeps going at an angle and should be a straight line. It did clean the walls the correct way. If it would do the floor the way it did the walls then it’s worth. But disappointed. And it gets stuck on the main drain
I’m a bit gun shy on Aiper. We bought the Aiper Seagul Plus last year and used it once because our new pool was finished just before time to close it for the season. Put it in the pool for this past week and it’s dead as a door nail. Definitely NOT a good spend.
Did you keep it roughly half-charged through winter as in the manual? Reach out to them they have good customer support. I've been really happy with the ones I've bought, saves me so much time and effort.
@@MaxTechOfficial we sure did. Being well versed with battery technologies, we kept it charged exactly how the manual stated for storage. Unfortunately because we purchased via Amazon, Amazon will not let us return it. I have not yet tried to contact the company but plan to later today. We just discovered the issue on Monday. I truly hope the company will make it right, but we are about to find out.
@@MaxTechOfficial well, I messaged them through the Aiper web site with the details needed. We shall see what their support looks like. Thank you for chiming in. I appreciate it.
Nice review. I'm in the market for a robot but I think this is so expensive for my needs. I have a screened in pool cage so I don't get a ton of debris in my pool but I do see bugs and worms on the bottom of the pool after hard rain. I like it but it would make sense for me to go with more of a budget friendly unit.
Thing is junk. Once the battery hits 50 percent (light turns yellow), it does absolutely nothing. Sits in one spot turning around in circles for a good 45 minutes until the battery quits.
Last year product is garbage. I got the seagull pro last year and replaced it after first use. My second one I just opened the pool and it’s not working. Pure junk
I just received today this hoower and let him work. All works fine, except of 3um filter. This was one of reasons I bought it. The filter is there just like a marketing. Water is not forced to go through, because it can flow arround filter from all sides. So what will water do? Will flow not through the filter, but arround, as it is less obstacle. The 3um filter engineering is absolutly shit and useless. It can not really work. The same result will be without the filter. All very fine particles are throughn away of hoower through nozzles. By the way it was also visible, clouds of fine particles went out of nozzles, when hoower sucked it from the floor. All other functions seems to be OK. For sure 3um filter is just empty marketing, or I received it incomplete inside the filters compartment.
Just got one a couple days ago for a great price. Discount coupon code on their site on top of the sale they’re having. Paid way less than MSRP. S1 Scuba Pro. It’s great! Build quality and tech seem supreme. Looking fwd to many years using it.

On just floor mode would it go between the shallow end and deep end? Mine thinks the slope is a wall and won't climb it.
@@MrBaltch Same here.
@@MrBaltch i mine does that fine. i put the update on it. its maybe a little better it still missing part of the floor.

So, pool cleaning is the new tech channel sponsor? Wonder when it will come to J2C and Gamer Nexus :P Oh well
Well what about mountain bikes? 😅
We're definitely going to cover things that we like :)
@@MaxTechOfficial By all means, just find it funny when all the tech channels suddenly does the same ad

How does this compare to the Wybot C1?

Can it tell the difference between a slope and a wall. I have a cordless robotic cleaner, it won't go up the slope from my deep end to shallow end.
Yes
