Hi Beth, I wanted to ask, my scalenes have always been extremely tight, especially on the left side causing a great deal of pain. Lately I’ve been having thoracic outlet symptoms . I’ve read and reread stuff on the scalenes, several physical therapists say to quit stretching the scalenes, their tight for a reason , they’re weak which I’m tending to agree with because I’ve stretched and stretched and find temporary relief though it’s not fixing it. I’m sure I have a lot of other neck muscles involved, the SCM etc, I also am having shoulder issues. do you have any good strengthening exercises for the scalenes? Thank you, Lil
What exercise would you recommend for scalene and SCM pain, I think it's my winged scapulas and posture from sitting desk work. You're amazing! Thank you.
Love the instructional set of exercies. Have you thought about doing a full video, with all exercises, so that we can follow along? I find it great to simply turn on the video and follow along. Thank you for your work Dr.!
So glad you like the exercises! Yes, I have considered creating a real time video with a full set of exercises. I have hesitated because my selected pace is likely to be too fast for some and too slow for others. I haven't quite figured out the pace I would choose to shoot for "just right" that would suit the most individuals. Thank you for the question/suggestion though! If I choose to create real time exercise videos, I will include this one.
I loved your clear slow understandable explanation 🎉 thank you soooo much , I just found your rotator cuff tear exercise video and it’s my third day exercise and helped
If you have tos do not hold your shoulders back and down, that compresses things worse if you have costoclavicular space compression. You should be back and slightly up.
What would you recommend for someone that has recently had two severe wedge fractures at T6/7 and also degenerate disk disease I have pain in both areas and I can’t get comfortable The burning pain is awful I also get pins and needles around my lower abdomen and the pins and needles go in and around my hip and down the front of my legs but not past the knee I have had mri that doesn’t show any nerve damage
I’ve had horrible symptoms physical/mental/neurological for a few years now from sleeping wrong and poor posture, went to a NUCCA doctor and confirmed my suspicions, However the price of his treatment was too high, can upper cervical problems be fixed with JUST proper neck training? My life has deteriorated in the past few years, And don’t see any options for healing

Really nice video! i was wondering if i could help you edit your videos and make them more engaging as well as create short content out of them.

If you have cervical stenosis. I wouldn’t do the looking upward and back.

Every person is unique and for some individuals, posture correction, positioning and stabilization exercises are enough to restore pain-free function.
Thank you for your patient and clear direction!❤❤
Is 10min a day enough? Thanks❤
Bingo you done it again Ms, Wagner. Cheerios!
This is good
you are the best
