I bought a different product this time, on the basis that it claimed a louder “find me” noise but it’s not the case. I have bought a MagSafe wallet with rechargeable “find me” built in. It’s much flatter than the one I had with the tag holder.
I'm unlike most in that I absolutely love the Magic Mouse and have been using it ever since the first version came out (sidenote - I've been using Macs and only Macs since the LC!) and have never found it to be bad ergonomically at all. Maybe I just have weird hands because of playing the piano? Who knows! They could make it wireless though as that would satisfy everyone then. You could have a wireless charging mat that you have on your desk and keep it charged when you need to in that way. Obviously Apple did things the way they did though to help prevent people from ruining the battery in the mouse because if they could plug it in and use it at the same time then that's going to bring the lifetime of the battery right down so they probably won't go wireless but it would be a nice idea if handled in some clever way.
A folding iPad would actually be cool! I don't really understand why people would want a folding phone, especially the ones that flip and don't really add any screen real estate compared to a regular phone. But if Apple releases a foldable, I have no doubt that it will be the north star for the rest of the industry, because they'll actually do it correctly. Samsung can't wait.
the only foldable that makes sense to me is the "bookstyle" phone like the Google, Sansung and OnePlus make. Having an iPad mini in your pocket when you need it would be clutch. The rest just introduce fragility issues without much benefit IMHO.
Charging port location obviously needs to be changed, but the actual design and usability of the magic mouse is absolutely the worst and for me unusable. Much rather use the Magic Trackpad.
I wanted that Trackpad but it was too expensive. I have a problem with the Mouse for the same reason. That was a dumb move to put the charge port at the bottom of the mouse. It's a pain to charge. You have to stop using the computer to charge
@@TheDumontShow Yes the Magic Trackpads are a bit expensive. Though I've been using mine for a while. Apple does make one of best trackpads. One of my work laptops is a Dell and the trackpad (touchpad) is not good compared to Apple.
The magic mice that came with my last 2 iMacs, I never used. The ergonomics of the mouse are terrible. The feel and responsiveness of the mouse feels like something from 20 years ago. If Apple is going to continue to make a mouse, it needs to completely redesign this thing. Take a look at Logitech. They seem to know what they are doing in the mouse area.
If the charging port on the new Magic Mouse isn't on the front of the mouse, its a no go for me. The previous one is a pain in the balls to charge. What was Apple thinking when they put the charge port at the bottom of the mouse? Its so unintuitive
Do we genuinely require folding iPads? Surely, Apple will be making a grave mistake by introducing them. They will undoubtedly reduce MacBook sales. Another crucial aspect to consider with Apple is that they manufacture products designed to last for several years. Can they guarantee such longevity with a folding screen?
They aint putting Mac OS on it. Period. If it's a tablet. If it's an actual laptop then yes. But they are not putting Mac OS on a iPad. Magic Mouse is total garbage. Very Very few Mac users like them. I talk to hundreds of Apple people every week. No they don't like the Magic Mouse. Lol. Most people can't stand it.
*But who cares…actual users know that you only need to charge the Magic Mouse 2 x twice a year at max - & even urgently in 2 mins provides 9 hours of use.* If anybody is complaining about flipping the mouse just twice a year, they’re just damn lazy. It does have the worst ergonomics of any mouse though - that’s no doubt.
Throwing AirTags out instead of spending 30 seconds to replace a battery that costs a fraction of a new AirTag is wild. Offensive even.
It's so insane. Screw charging cases. Just let me replace the battery like I already can. It's like once a year if that.

appreicate all your vids fernando! friday 5 was a great addition to the line up
Please, stop spending 2 to 3 minutes on the introduction. Just say what you’re gonna talk about and get into the video.

Only idiots complain about the charging of the Magic Mouse.

If Apple makes a foldable phone, I hope that they make a non foldable version for those of us that already hate that idea.
It’s fact Apple is working on a folding phone. There was a story about it on the news this week. There was zero mention of any folding iPad though.
What do you do, just roll out of bed and decide to do a video? Geez!
Yes
Thank you.
I like news about Apple, but when it’s mixed with all sorts of rumours of unannounced devices, I get annoyed. Just can’t win I guess.

it's very easy to replace the airtag battery lol no one should be creating easy to avoid e-waste and just throw them out
so basically this is a clickbait video since apple hasn't come out with a new magic mouse or folding ipad yet?
Why don't go to the dark side (Samsung)?

18.2 is still a bit of a battery hog

I would be interested to see what Apple could do with a foldable screen, it just seems like such a dumb idea from a longevity point of view.
Would all the people throwing out AirTags when the battery expires please send them to me?
