HOW TO TEACH YOUR CHILD TO READ| HOMESCHOOL

Every (ok most) mornings as soon as their eyes pop open, I put on GoNoodle for the girls to get their energy up then immediately do some literacy exercise. The best tip is whatever you choose to do, do it consistenly and do it when you first wake up - no excuses. Aphiwe can read this paragraph easily, but as you can see sometimes toddlers will act silly or read below their skill level, depending on their mood and investment. The mood this morning is certainly silly! That's why I love to do this first thing in the morning, at some point in the afternoon, and in the evening. The mood changes throughout the day so we may be a bit more serious later :-)
